I don't have any, unfortunately; all of my good friends live along the subway line and don't have cars either (except for one who does have a car but currently can't drive due to medical reasons). Although I guess I may as well throw it out here: if any TO people who have cars and drive want to go take a trip to Michael's, feel free to PM me.
thebeadery.com won't work for me because they're in the U.S. and ship Fedex, who automatically assesses an expensive "handling" charge in addition to whatever we'd get screwed on by Customs. :/ |

Thanks for the offer Skitles, but I'm sure there's an easier way to get the beads than making you shell out money to ship them! You made me smile though, that's sweet.

It might be cheaper sign up for their emails too because they give you codes for free shipping, although i think that's only for orders over 50 dollars. 50 dollars of beads is alot of beads, i know that for a fact ::

You try taking extended-trip public transit with a toddler? It's not that fun. The subway is fine because Moo adores trains with the sort of adoration that the rest of us reserve for, say, hot chicks dripping with chocolate sauce, but the bus? Nah. He's not into the bus at all. Did you get a Deluxe package for the party, basic? |

Robin I wish I had seen this sooner, I have so many more beads than I'll ever know what to do with! I won't be in canada again until July 5th, but if you're still in need of beads then I'll happily give you many! (I had wanted to make as many hulla bracelets as possible, enough for the entire crowd, but string and letter beads are too expensive. )

Thanks for the offer, Candy. Property, sweet lady that she is, is taking me along on a trip to Michael's on Monday, so bracelet-making shall resume shortly!
