the opera house is always like that. a very long time ago i went to the (ducks and covers) local talent competition for the village stage at lilith fair. a bunch of hippy lesbians..no not even a bunch..like twenty of us. still got frisked.
and ive seen them be real dicks at punk shows

I didn't see any Security being anal?
The security thing is pretty standard for venues when you are serving booze. I think it may even be tied to liquor license legislation. Anyways the movie was great. I really liked the commentary from AlexD. |

I really appreciated the documentary... altho, I was very disappointed in 2 things:
1. the projector had it's brightness set SO HIGH that the picture was very washed out -- ppl's faces were so pale, and picture quality was less than desirable 2. the sound was SOOOOOO boomy with bass that it made it extremely difficult to hear what people were saying with the music in the background -- all they had to do was lower the bass EQ and it would have been 100% better. That being said, I really hope those who didn't know much of this story paid attention, as there was a great deal covered that would certainly give a higher level of appreciation to what has made Hulla what it is/was. |

i agree with wolf on both counts of that. frisky looked like he had no nose, just nostrils. also, in the final editing, turn down the tracks in the background and if possible maybe even change them to be instrumentals and not vocals so its easier to focus on the interviews
just my piece otherwise it was great and the hypnosis show was wicked funny. next reunion= Hullabaloo: My Boyfriend Is Having My Baby!

Agree with the above, however, I am sure it will get cleaned right up.

Don't sweat the technical details. Spice was working on the movie till the last second and literally showed up with his laptop and plugged it into the projector well after everyone had already arrived. Obviously it looked and sounded different at the opera house with their projector and massive sound system than it did on his mac at home and we never had the chance to pre-screen it. But obviously by the time the DVD ships next month it will look and sound great. I'm happy with the story, and with some additional rave footage and raver interviews it'll be very nice.
