Moo's got gorgeous eyes; they ended up green, just like Chris and I. (There was a chance they'd go blue, since all of our parents have blue eyes, and both blue eyes and green eyes are recessive genes.)
 It's so weird that he's gotten so big, I'm continually surprised that I have a little boy - not a baby or a toddler anymore, he's a little boy who runs fast and climbs ladders without assistance and sits in a big-kid swing by himself and picks out his clothes and drinks with a straw and plays Nintendogs on our Nintendo DSes... it's just strange that four years ago he didn't even exist, and three years ago he was a mindless collection of rapidly-reproducing cells, and now he's a talking, thinking, conscious human being with his own personality and preferences, capable of making decisions and communicating. It's mindblowing that somebody can go from being nothing to being a person in such a short span of time. |
