At least he put some effort in to it, the one on pr looks like someone used ms paint lol.
If you send him hate mail it's just going to feed his fire, and I'm sure you all have much better things to do with your time... like make kandi :P

Maybe he is just jealous because he didn't get a ticket. Majik Bob is one of his close friends and he and his whole crew from Ohio are coming.
I am not sending hate mail though... I would prefer to not pay attention to him.

I removed the link and graphic. Let's not give him the attention he's sadly looking for (guess his mom didn't hug him enough growing up).
The reality is I (and Hulla) probably have as much bad things said about us than good. It's a sign of your high profile. If there's one thing I've learned after all these years are these guys come and go and I will still always be here. You know what they say about the best revenge is living well.... |

You'd be a busy guy if you got caught up with every little hater of mine out there
If those people put 1/2 as much energy into creating something positive, they would open so many more doors in their world. |

Sad thing is... this kid used to be a hardcore Candy Kid, but now look at him. All that candy you see on him was made special, and its sad to see such nice peices go to waste on someone like that. Bah Humbug!!!!!

MOST candy ravers turn on themselves at some point. Some can be mature about it and see that time of their lives as something fun but a lot get a hate on about it and then try and destroy whoever is left.
I throw those people off the hullaboard in short order, that's why this place is so friendly. But you only need to look at just about any other rave message board to see how it plays out normally. |

not only do I post on here, but I post on TorontoRaves.com a lot... I'm 28, I still wear kandi, I vocally believe in PLURR, and no one ever gives me shit for it... but I think that has to do with the fact that I don't type like "tHiS AlL tHe TiMe" and I actually put thought into many of my posts...

This bugs the crap out of me. If I wanted to wear candy so much that it prevented my from getting a job, or getting ahead in life, then I would have a problem. Until then, who cares what I wear on some occasions? I certainly don't wear candy every day like I did in high school, because I know the difference between work and play, and I have some more important priorities at present, but candy will always have a special place in my heart, as it was part of the most fun and memorable part of my life thus far. I still enjoy making it, wearing it, collecting it, and rummaging through it.

remember, you can take the candy off the raver, but you'll never take the candy out of your raver soul!

Yeah I agree. That's why I'm glad to have found this forum and everybody is postive and nice to each other even noobs. I've only been on this forum a short while but I feel as if I've already been accepted and made some really good friends. The forums for ravers down here, ravers.org and discoproductions.org, is full of negative people and noobs can be treated quite brutally. I already have more posts on this board then I do on those other ones and I've been a member of those for a couple of years. I'm 24 and still candie and I don't see anything wrong with that and don't plan on changing. I might stop wearing candie but I will always try to live up to the ideals of being a candie kid. |

i just turned 30 and i still enjoy seeing and wearing candy. i have gotten to the point that i don't need to wear it to show my candy colors. i love that i get to be candylicious at hulla cuz NO ONE judges you for it, they love you for it that is why i love hulla. i am still soo clueless as to what im gonna wear for OMGH. i hope that i can figure it out in enough time after the wedding. i will have approximately 2 weeks to make something.
woot! i love working under pressure
