Kandi making
Think it's too early to start?? I reallllly wanna make some kandi for people.. but it's still 4 months away.. haha But I'm on such a kandi-kick ^_^
I know there is already a kandi thread but I insist on starting a new one

I made a kandi belt for AGT. I dunno if I can out do myself with that one!! it even says "Hullabaloo" in it ^_^

I went out and spent my first $100 bucks on beading stuff last night!!!! I must admit that my candy making productivity has really been lacking for a while now, but this party has definately lit a fire under my ass, and you better believe that I'll be making as much candy as I humanly can for this one!!!

^^Yeah I'll be going to a few more parties between now and Hulla.. but I'm keeping all my Hulla kandi that I make seperate from my regular kandi.

If you guys are looking for specific beads but can't find them at Joann's, etc. thebeadery.com has alot. They supply Joann's and some other stores. It is where I get alot from. It's usually cheaper too, except when the craft stores have big sales on them, which I hear Joann's is having right now.

I'm so excited...
As of late I've felt rather old and Jaded (I'm 24.. hehe) I haven't had good reason to make candy in a long time.. Other than for Shambhala last year. But I'm definitely gonna dust off the old beads and get making. I hope to trade with all of you.. as long as you don't mind trading with an old lady  |

Haha awesome.
I think I'm about 12 too. I finally stopped wearing kandi last summer at a music festival, when my friend said "People over 18 wearing kandi is creepy" :/ I don't know why it affected me badly in the way that it did.. I'm considered pretty "old" to be raving, here. But so what!! ^_^ This is gonna be a weekend to remember! |
