LoL, not that it isn't common english, but the UK slang and word usage is a lot different than ours over here. Personally, I think the way you guys use the language has a lot more flavor, but that could be just because I speak our version of it all of the time.

im not sure what the laws are like in the UK, however just for your info, there is a strict no smoking law that forbids you to light up inside ANY venue/bar/club/etc.

There is a smoking patio though.

- go to bathroom
- jump on a bunch of people to say hello
- drink upstairs
- rave downstairs
- smoke outside
- bathroom in basement
- repeat drink-bathroom process 5-10 times
- make exit when I'm about to pass out from exhuastion

This is one of my favorite things about the two Hulla's i have been to. NO SMOKE. It makes the night so much nicer! Cali parties are a big smokefest and you leave the party smelling like ass and feel like you have smoke a pack yourself. At Hulla you can actually enjoy your night without having somebody always smoking right next to you!

i hated it when the smoking ban came into place, but now that it's here and ive gotten used to it, im actually more fond of things the way they are now... i find i smoke less, and i feel better the next day.

honestly, when going to parties on the ttc, on saturdays around 10-11, everyone's drinking on the subway...
get cans... they don't break when you drink on the way...

we tend to start with the molson kick (caffeine beer) and then move on to the other stuff because they run out of kick real fast...

the only thing that sucks about the opera house is that you can't take beer downstairs from the balcony so if your fav track of all time starts and you've just bought one, drink up...

I have only ever had ONE problem in Toronto in my many years of going with an ID and that was at another party at a tiny bar....they told me they required your passport if you were out of the country...I said no way dude...I'm not bringin my passport out when I'm planning to get wasted...that's just askin for trouble
