To everybody planning on buying the ultimate combo dealie, a few words of caution:

1) Don't bother the DJs or MCs while they're performing

2) Don't jump up and down near the decks. They do skip.

3) Don't stand in front of the DJ

These are sort of unwritten stage rules. Now they've been written.

There would be a whole bunch of "UnPLUR" at that moment I'm sure... Ok maybe not... just some "firm words"

This is hulla we are talking about.

Same thing happened to me last year... I ordered a CD for my boyfriend for Christmas and it finally came in March. We had some contact about it for about a month but after a month he just stopped replying and it randomly appeared in my mailbox one day.

I think he means that if there are any tickets left over for just the movie, that they will go on sale after June 4th

DVDs will be sold in August. The "movie" I'm referring to above is the movie night.

hey.. just a thought.

does it _have_ to be at the opera house? it is such a small venue to pack "hundreds of first timers who would like to experience the hulla vibe" into (plus the regular crowd).

it just seems you're not even trying!! come on. more vibe, more people, more cubic feet of space ...

I doubt that would happen. Though it would be nice, I hate not having room to dance :\

bigger isn't always better, i like the opera house...

it has sentimental value and also it is a nice intimate space to do the hulla thing..

it would be weird making it all massive now... thats just not how the scene works anymore... nor do i want to see 2,500 etarded teenagers running around... in the midst of the 1000 cool ravers that will fill the opera house nicely...

Agreed, the days of the huge massives in the 90s are over.. although some still exist in the west coast.

they can keep em... i have no desire to attend such events... they are fun when it is outdoors, like festivals... but as far as one off all night warehouse massives... ICK.. so dirty, can you say germ fest... not to mention all the abuse of everything...
i'll take a couple thousand dancing close... thats good for me!
