I've done the drive to and from Minneapolis with a few other people before. It's not a fun drive. Go through Detroit/Windsor, it'll be faster.

Clayfig, it can take anywhere between 10 and 19 hours to get there from here. DO NOT go to canada without bringing EXTRA money, crap comes up, if you go with exactly as many pennies as you *think* you need you will be begging at the door for money instead of enjoying your hulla.

Who are you going with? Perhaps I could convince Heidi and Stefan to have you guys caravan with us. The first time going can SUCK if you make a wrong turn or get lost on detroit (as we STILL manage to do almost everytime we go there because of stupid construction). ALSO once you get into toronto you can feel completely lost, because all the sudden you are in one of the biggest cities in the world and wtf do you do now...

We made the trek by road from Colorado for AGT. AND we couldn't leave until just the day before due to finals. It took just over 25 hours and we made it with about 4 hours to spare. I suggest giving yourself more time because driving straight through can definitely be a grueling experience. It's well worth it though, and road trips are always fun. |

chances are, it may almost be cheaper with the price of gas / wear & tear on your vehicle, and the additional time you'll be off work. stay at home, work, then fly.. that's my suggestion
