Wow, I hope you guys end up doing the pre meet at Nathan P Square! I'm flying in from south Louisiana with my fiancee and two friends and we were hoping to get a hotel around there (best deal for a flight+hotel looks like at the Cambridge, any comments?). I'd love to get to know some you guys through the board before then. It'll be our first hulla and first time out of the country.

now the hard part for me is getting my entire gourp ready and there. a lot of them are going to be Hulla newbies (not that i'm far from) but getting 10 people ready and in one place might be a hard task to accomplish. but i'm gonna do my damndest to be there

hmmm what time do we need to be at the event to start lining up? I know at Zoolu and etc at the state palace here [ before it was shut down last year ] the line could be crazy.

8:30 SHOULD be okay to start lining up at? The line really does move pretty quick, however at most hullas when i get there there isn't too many people lined up, this time might be more!

haha there can't be a line if most of the people going are at the premeet. and the line did move quickly last time. just remember wear shoes that are easy to get on and off. lol. it took me forever last time.

They make you take off your shoes for contraband search. A hulla search is a HARDCORE search. The venue just wants to minimize liability.

ugh... I know! I wore these wicked neon green chucks and they have beads all through the laces.. can't even tell you what a pain those were to get on and off!!

lol. mine werek bright red with beads on the laces as well. took me forever to get them on and off. and i couldn't feel my feet for a full day after (if not longer)
