yeah, apparently they are still going through with the law suit. It would be nice if something came of it since it turns out they didnt need the permit.

I wouldnt be surprised if nothing comes from this. As much as I want somehting good to happen because of this REALLY shitty incident its just to hard to believe that the judicial system here in the USA will let something like this pass. Raves and ravers are the new age hippies, we as ravers/EDM party goers are disliked just like the hippies were(I hear alot about it, my dad was a pretty large hippie). Ive done what I can for now, ive emailed so many people, so many large tv/radio networks about it. I wish I could do more to help this situation but for now all we can do is sit back and hope something remotely good comes from this...

I just checked utrave and there doesn't seem to be anything coming of this anymore.
the promoters tried to get a restraining order against the sherrif but that failed. I saw a thread about aclu taking statements, but hardly anyone has replied and I doubt anything more will come of it. |
