And only people who cared about the music showed up, on the most part ... last years party is just someting that can't be remade in any way

Announcement two weeks before the party is pretty spur of the moment. And judging by people's reactions in this thread, I think it once again will be only people who care about the music. If you don't think the magic will be there, don't come.

I'll be there. For sure. Along with the d-town crew and as much vibe as 4 or 5 people can carry.

Judging by the responses of who's coming and who's NOT coming, we're getting a pretty good idea of the type of people and atmosphere we can expect at the party. Last years was a bit different because for everyone in attendance, we thought we were potentially witnessing the last ever Hulla.
For certain it will be a wicked evening and I'm quite excited myself. It should be better than last years in some ways, just because there is a bit more time and it can be organized and executed better. We're not talking about a tremendous amount of people here, and considering Hulla's can potentially attract up to 3-4000 people and have amazing events, if you boil the attendance down to closer to 500 you're left with some real diehard hullaravers.

Frisky & dminus will be playing happy hardcore of course. silver1 is my co-host on the Happy Hour show on 1groove.com and is also a happy hardcore DJ. It's a Hulla, so of course the night is going to lean strongly toward the HH sounds. It wouldn't be the same otherwise.

re: e-by-gum. Yes I'd love to see him there too, and he probably could have been talked into coming out of retirement for one night, but unfortunately he's visiting family in the UK for the next few months and won't be back till the summer.

Ok, how long will tickets be available because I don't get paid for a week and second I'll admit I'm a little nervous because of the last Hulla, is security going to be tighter? I sure hope so.

well the venue is the operahouse..
last time I was there, they made you take off yer shoes.. it was pretty anal.. but ya, there was a security presence..
its not that they were rude.. you just know they're there.
trust me, you will want to be there..
lat years group hug was soo amazing.. I keep telling people stories about it...

I think group hug means alot to people on the board here. I can't speak for everyone, but judging by the responses on here, I think most of us have a fond memory of last years event.

grins, frolic even got on the dance floor and danced, and at the end of the night, everyone linked arms and a huge circle formed. The name group hug was very appropriate

I'm picking up the tickets from the printers on monday and will bring them to numb on monday, but they might be closed on monday? if so, then they'll have them tuesday. They're on sale through ticketweb.com right now.

I have no idea how long the tickets might last for. For a normal hulla party we would sell out the capacity for this event in the first weekend of sale. but this isn't a normal party, so who knows. I would strongly recommend that people get their tickets ASAP though. I'd add more ticket outlets, but there just isn't enough time to distribute them and there aren't enough tickets available to divvy to many stores anyways.
