For Your Information... and Mine...

A few different things that people may be happy to know:

#1: If you have yet to book airfare for your trip to Toronto, today on the news they expressed that ticket prices were going to be lowered.

#2: We just found an incredible rate at Doubletree Hotels located close to the airport. For anyone that has transportation and doesn't mind staying a little ways away from the hotel, we found an excellent rate of $106.38 USD per night including taxes. The room set up for this rate is for two queen size beds. The fun thing about this hotel is based on the fact that it has water slides connected to the pool inside of the hotel. Our group has reservations there for the 7th through the 10th.

Information I would like to know:

#1: Can anyone tell me how much gas is per gallon for the lowest grade in Toronto? Do you know if the price per gallon will be going up/down within the next month?

#2: What is the average temp. during the summer?

#3: Does anyone know of anywhere in the downtown or airport area that offers massages; including Reiki (sp?)

One month until my crew is on their way...

1 - We don't have gallons here - gas is sold in Klezmers and it is 45 canadianers per klezmer

2 - It varies day by day. somedays it is 115F then the next it is 20F

3 - Reiki has been illegal in Canada since law 74 was passed in 77

ok so i don't know how much it is a gallon, we do litres here, it can be from 74-90 cents a litre, probably way more than you are used to paying.

Its usually 25-35 degrees celcius in the summer

I don't do massage stuff so i dunno.

You can do all the conversions, cause im playing a video game right now so i don't have time and my charachter is probably done healing, bye!

recently it's been nice in TO i hear, but plan for changes...the motto in most of northeastern US is "if you don't like the weather here, wait a minute" ...the best way to prepare for visiting the are is to bring layers...t-shirts, tank tops, capris/shants for day, longer-sleeved stuff, pants and hoodies for night, as well as an umbrella...it likes to rain

Okay, first off... how many litres does it take to fill a tank of gas? In general. We pay $2.08 a gallon for gas right now, although it was above $2.25 recently.

When you talk about Celsius, you somewhat confuse me as well. What would the be in the sense of farenheit?

I agree about the whole warm one minute, then to have it snow the next. It is quite unusual to see snow in the mountains of Salt Lake in June. But the weather has been incredibly pleasant.

western new york is where it rings most true...

you should've been here yesterday... i woke up to get ready for work, and it was raining. while driving to work, the sun shines, 30 minutes after being at work, it starts raining again.... rains for 15 minutes, sun shines for about another half hour.. rains harder for 15 minutes, sun shines... rains again.. .sun shines again.. .finally POURS almost hurricaine level.. then the sun starts shining and by 2 - 3pm there wasn't a cloud in the sky..

wtf...

1 US gallons = 3.7854118 litres

so, 1 gallon here would cost 0.74 x 3.7854118 = $2.80 A GALLON AT THE LEAST! I commend you if you find gas that cheap, and about the highest you can get is...

0.90 x 3.7854118 = $3.41 A GALLON AT THE MOST, you probbaly won't find it higher than that.

As you can see us canadians get screwed around alot.

Now for the temperatures:

Temperatures SHOULD range from about 77F to 95F, probably won't get hotter than that (i hope). Some nights can get chilly so you might want to bring a jacket, but some nights are hot... its not really predictable lol.

Toronto in July will be HOT. The weekend you will be here is primetime for heat. It won't be layering weather or hoodie time. It should still be above 20C and humid at night.

Although I hadn't quite mentioned that I would make you a piece, I'm sure that I could possibly take care of that. Ummmm... I'm just not sure of the whole teddy bear thing.

You know, I was wondering what a kelzmer was as well.

I also thought the concept of saying the one word as canadianers was quite interesting as well.
