We should find all of 'em and make them ALL true for this hulla... If someone supplies giant paper, and everybody brings markers (including myself), I'm superbly down for at least helping the banner. And we should definitely get some marchers... That would be a lot of fun, as long as I don't get arrested or booted back across the border before the party, I'm happy.

Just to warn you guys, if you are going to march down queen street in a raverparade blowing whistles we'll have the cops on us faster than you can say plur. Last pre-meet we were just chilling at nathan phillips and and a cop pulled up and just sat there and watched us until we left, just throwing this out there.

Maybe noise and whistsles are a bad idea, however an impromptu march of kandi kids down the street is not illegal, not in the usa anyway. so if we met somewhere and marched on down to the opera house, we're just walking down the street, if we start yelling and blowing whistles and disturbing the peace, then i could see a reason for concern. Just be adults about it, how ironic? we could march solmenly and quietly as in procession for a funeral, after all it IS the last hulla, and we will be on the way to it's memorial service if you think about it.
perhaps a parade of brightly colored and dressed, solemn men woemn, boys and girls would be a nice way to start it off. who knows. brian aka B |

to respond to an earlier post about gathering and stuff. (not to be a buzzkill cuz i'm still down for this) BUT
in the u.s. at least the cops have every right to break up a group of more than four people. Its in some stupid law that some stupid suburban white man made that says that anything over four people must be gangmembers or drug dealers. so yeah. Where are we meeting again? and how do i get there? and what time? and all that jazz...

last time we all marched around nathan phillips square we didn't get harassed by cops at all. i dont think they'll be too worried about a bunch of kids dressed like four year olds.

that is a good indicator... we always leave a piece of kandi on our doorknob... the housekeeping lady ends up taking it eventually.. but it's a good way to meet other ravers =)

7 sounds good. that gives us 2 hours to work our way to the party. it would be nice to get there early. i'm sure the line will be nuts.
Stef and i had talked about getting dinner somewhere, probably with marisa, erik, and maybe some other friends. it would be cool if you wanted to come with us jenn. do you know of any good places to eat? are there any vegitarian or vegan restaurants in toronto? |

a pre-meet the day of sounds awesome, I think my group would stop by at that if there was one. I'm not sure when we'll be getting into Toronto, but I can check. I'd love to meet some of you people before since I'll probably be wanting to dance more than talk during the actual party :P

Toronto is Eastern Time, right?
I'm staying in Rochester with a friend for the night and hanging out with him for most of the day and then driving out to Toronto in the afternoon. I defnitely want to meet up for this. What about parking though? I mean if we park somewhere and parade to the club then we'll have to parade all the way back to our cars afterwards and I don't know if I'll have the energy to do that I'm assuming there's parking near the Opera House, but does anyone know where else we could park that might be closer this Nathan Philips place? |

i usually take a taxi everywhere. many other people say they take the public transportation. but a taxi to and from somewhere is going to cost about the same as parking anyways, so why drive. I might just walk to nathan phillips. it's only about a mile and a half from the days inn where i'm staying.

nathan phillips square has like a giant underground parking lot underneath it or beside it or something really close, I think it will cost you though. |
