i am bringing my boyfriend as usual to this party.. but he insisted on bringing his 19 yr old coworker whom is a little.. um.. unrefined is the nicest i can come up with.. SO this kid has never been to a party in his life.. and he is gonna experience hulla.. i've tried to explain the vibe and what to wear... and this kid has become completely mindset on wearing an old costume.. for lost in space.. his reasoning is logical.. he wants to portray himself as being from BACK IN TIME>..( ie the round table) SOOOOO

he wants to wear a (Chain Mael) ( i have no idea if i spelled that right.. u know the stuff that knights wear) shirt.. made of aluminum and copper rings... it is HUGE.. and heavy ... and i told him he will be uncomfortable... but regardless that is not what i care about..

my question is... Frolic... or other hulla kidz.. do you see any problems with him getting in wearing this metal attrocity... i mean.. is chain mael like prohibited.. in my mind, i associate that sort of thing with combat.. and just don't cooralte it with raving.. but um.. he wants to really bad..

Frolic do you think opera house security would have a problem with him wearing this in? it is his 1st party rave ever.. i want to make sure he has fun ...

personally, i dont see any problems with wearing it, other than it'll be really heavy and not good for walking around alllllll night long.

i think it'd be pretty cool, actually... and that he'd get a lot of compliments on it.

It will look cool, but he's gonna pass out half way through the night if he's dancing. Chain mail is hot, and heavy and just not good raving gear. Try to convince him to wear something else, or at least bring a bag so he can check the stuff if he changes his mind half way through the night.

Naw you just trade in something with the alchemist for that in return and wala! Ya id say to not wear something soo heavy like that coz hes gonna die lol espically at Hulla when your gonna wanna dance like crazayy and he might not be able to coz thats weighing you down..Tell him to make something similar like that, but much lighter.
Also Question for all: How many people are going in costumes? Im currently in the making of mine with my boyfriend we're both going as cyber angels, hes the light angel and im the dark angel =D anyone else dressing up?
