One little suggestion
I would add a policy on cameras to the FAQ (whether they can be brought, a limit on megapixels or SLRs, etc).

Sorry, but I'm detecting a very nasty tone here, Mr. Frolic, sir. I'm thinking we're all glad you're getting out now and passing the torch to people who have some respect for the punters. Byeeeeee!

Are you referring to my guestlist line of questions? Then yes, people who think they're above paying to get in won't get much respect from me. This is done out of respect for my paying patrons to not treat other people as more special than others. The "But don't you know who I am?!" quote is a reference to something well known that occured some years back. Although I guess some people are misinterperting it. |

i completely understand...as someone has thrown parties and assists with parties the *dont you know who I am* thing happens ALLL the time...anyone who thinks they are above paying to get in your party deserves to be told they are a loser..because they are...

^^ and it's funny cause usually the people who really might deserve to get in free are willing to support the scene and buy a ticket. obviously there aren't any more tickets to buy for hulla, but in general anyone who thinks they are above paying doesn't deserve it anyway.

I'm sure everyone is welcome since its at a bowling alley. I am so going for a curry before hand, around the corner in little India. *tear* reminds me of England.

Actually, since there's a finite amount of space in the bowling alley we may have to sell tickets (nothing major) for it just to control the turnout.
But everyone is welcome and if you don't have a ticket for saturday there's nothing stopping you from trying to get one for friday. I don't anticipate releasing much info about the friday bowling night until after April 30th. |

This might be a stupid question but does Robin ever "act" like security? I remember at FiTS I was in the bathroom & a girl came in & said, "Alright, everyone whose done get out, keep the doorway clear" & I smiled at her & asked if she wanted a tic tac & she said, "Omg, do I need one?!" but she was really wicked nice & now that I'm seeing pics of her from the scrapbook it looks like her! lol Anyways, I think it was the same girl who searched me going in .. was it her? lol

i don't think i've ever seen robin doing security...just handling the will-call and rocking out inside the party, not to say it wasn't her that time, just my experience
but some of the female security guards can be pretty nice...as are the girls that work the bars...they really like it when you give them stickers

Added these today to the faq:
Updated April 23 Why won't you let me sell my ticket on your board? We're not allowing any buying/selling threads because we're not giving an avenue to profiteers to make money off of our life's work. Also there have been some reports of fraudulent tickets circulating and we don't want to have someone lulled into a false sense of security when buying them just because they might have originated from our site. Can you tell us more about the preparty? We'll make an official announcement shortly after Lost in Space, but rest assured you won't want to miss out on this one-of-a-kind event. How many tickets will be available for the preparty? Due to venue limitations, preparty capacity will be maxed at 300. Holy Sh*t! Those will be tough tickets to get ahold of, when will they go on sale? Hulla preparty Tickets will go on sale May 13th exclusively from the HullaStore. No tickets will be mailed, they can only be picked up at the door. How much will the preparty tickets be? That will be announced with the rest of the details but it will be significantly cheaper than a regular Hulla ticket. Will there be DJs? The preparty won't resemble a rave in any way. It's intention is to allow the people who put on Hulla to mix with those that attend it in a fun social atmosphere. Plus, we don't want you all to wear yourselves out before the big night! What's the big surprise I've heard about for the preparty? All we be announced with the flyer, but let's just say Frolic has one last trick up his sleeve to share with his loyal patrons. |
