Different people like to enjoy parties or afterparties in different ways...for me personally, the most fun I can possibly have at a party is to play a set that gets people dancing. Even if I don't make it to Hulla, I would still love it if I could bring all my gear out and play a live Goa set on the beach until everyone passes out...then play a live ambient set until they all wake up.

that'd be cool. I probably wouldn't dance, but I'd love to chill to some Goa

Ya, Goa is music I prefer to sit and chill to rather than dance to as well...I find myself listening to it more and more these days for that reason, since I can't really dance any more (I mean apart from the fact that I love Goa/psy/psytekk/goacore).

True...the goa/psy/psytekk live PA set* I'm currently working on is a steady 160 bpm and fairly hard, but even at that speed it's good music to sit and trip out to, or dance to, depending on your mood. But the stuff is awesome to chill to. *Will post it up when I get a good recording of it...tried to do it today, but somewhere between my mixer and my hard drive it got horribly distorted...so you can barely even hear the beat, never mind feel it. |

kandeegirl, yeah I know, one of my friends here knows the guy that throws those
I'm starting to know everyone in Philly, it's funny. This girl I met recently had met a few of my friends at CHUD (this is before she met me) and my friends were like, "You don't know Josh and Cory? Everyone knows Josh and Cory." Apparently we're famous |

i'm definitely down...i fell asleep in my car at the beach after the last hulla i went to (drift on a dream) cuz i did nothing BUT dance the entire time...after driving around ALL the previous night looking for a hotel, then finding one at 11am, then walking from the comfort hotel on st. charles to the opera house, then getting back to the room just in time to get ready for the party....hahahaha. what a weekend!! lmao
so yeah, i think this time i'm gonna make it a point to ENJOY the beach..especially for the LAST hulla!

Posted in the music board, streaming version. It's not that great yet...some good bits, some not so good bits, but it's getting better. Managed to get rid of most of the distortion, but the beats are pretty weak now. It's actually a mix of trance, psytrance, psytekk and Goa. |

i agree with Star..i think we should all just mingle and let the music and memories from the party the night before just kind of sink in...no generators and decks and stuff...we all have car stereos if it's THAT dire that we have music going i wanna swim
hey paul, how come no one is ever on your site?? |
