new here ... but!
Hey,
It's my first time to a Hulla, and i've got my tickets too . I heard yesterday that theres only like 800+ or so tickets left ... I also heard they've sold out at the places where you can get'em... Sounds like theres going to TONs and TONs of ravers that night. I'm kind of a bit overwhelmed ... well probably freaked out ( in a good way ) when i get there. I haven't been to an out-of-the-country party party before, and i only know one person there, which is my ride ( kevin ). So i don't know many people there, hoping to make friends ! p.s. i got kind of nervous when my computer started to freeze everytime i try to buy tickets, but no i'm all set! ( can't wait for the scrapbok though! ) |

dont' worry...by and large hullabalooers are the nicest ravers you'll ever meet...you'll have 800 new friends by the end of the night look for me and sunny and carrie...we're friendly folk to nice newbs and PS, 800 - 900 kids at a rave really isn't that many when you look at the larger parties going on across the country...after your first massive (20000 - 30000 people), it'll feel like an intimate gathering of friends

And I can vouch for it! My first hulla was Dec. 11th at Back & Forth. I went alone and before the party even started I had already made new friends at a Premeet I went to. Hullabaloos are well known for their bouncy 'live love' atmosphere. You'll walk in the front door and it's like your in a whole other dimesion. Like a dream, that's come true! *sigh* And it'll be the last time it ever happens.

Mother of god I'm bad at meeting people at Hullas. Since Space Invader, I've met two people, that's it. I'm too solo for this stuff.

I have 11 people coming up from Salt Lake City, Utah. I've been waiting to go to another party since Sail Away.
This will be my second hulla, compared to the bunch of Hulla Virgins I'm bringing along for the fun. |

QUOTE]I should have phrased that better The ones that DID care have now retired (we're all in our late 20s now -- some settling down and getting married) and the ones I took to raves in the past were never impressed enough to come with me again. I even broke down and got long-lost cousins to come to events like Funtopia 2 just to try to spread the word.
But I'll be there with my walker and cane for the final event. [/QUOTE] Hey i am married and my husband is in his late 20's that is not a good enough excuse |
