Its located 30 Carlton st. its off of Yonge St. and its about 5-7 minutes by Cab and only costs about 5-7 bux to take a cab from the hotel. yonge has a lot of awesome shops and a great bistro.

Any hotel is good with me as long as there's going to be a bunch of ravers there and a place to crash.

If you are a student, you can book the Days Hotel & Conference center on Carlton for really cheap at www.statravel.com. My friends and I booked there for the 7th-11th (4 nights) for $360. That's $90 a night for FOUR people and having been to Toronto, I can tell you, the location is FAB. It's in the middle of the tourist area and RIGHT next to the gay neighborhood if you're into that.

Actually, you're supposed to be a student, but I called and verified that there is no request for actual proof that you are a student, so really, anyone is free to take advantage. If you book a room, feel free to email me!

That's usually where I stay. It's a good deal and a short cab ride to the Opera House.

i've already booked my room for july... at 140 CAD a night... which Is MUCH LESS than anywhere else i've seen... all other downtown hotels start at200 a night during that weekend...

Carrie, I'm having trouble finding that Marriott on priceline and when i go to The Marriott website it's $169 CAD. Have you booked a room yet? How much did you get it for?

we don't usually book until a couple weeks in advance. definitely don't go through the marriott, it's way expensive. go on priceline and put in that you want a 3-star hotel in the downtown area only, and put in like $40 a night. sometimes you have to go a little higher but it's not too bad.

yeah, i'm trying to book early to ensure a room. all the prices that I'm finding are much higher than i'm use to. Have hotel prices shot up in the past year in Toronto. I know the exchange rate is shit. But it's not even that. Rooms that I would have got for $100 CAD are now going for around $160 CAD. Toronto need to have another SARs outbreak or something.

I'll probably book in the next week or two in either the Mariott or the Days Inn
