^ Oh good. I'm always paranoid about lit things with people flailing around that close to me. I just don't need scars up and down my arms, nope.
I wonder if security will be reinforcing that particular bylaw, however. It will be interesting to see. As for what I'm bringing - Perhaps a party virgin, perhaps not. Hmm.. An LED writer wand.. more kandi than I can wear at one time, my blinkie toys from work, a brand new party book, markers, stickers, and the PLUR BUNEE - My bunny backpack. He recently got a binkie and a nifty chain. Hurray! .:Kat:. |

Sorry to all the smokers out there but - Thank god.
That was one of my biggest gripes about raving. That many people jammed in a close space with most of them holding FIRE while dancing.

it gets fuckin cold in ohio.. hehe..
might not snow as much down there as up here... but its usually even colder considering there are no hills or anything to block the wind, so its always really windy down there... *shivers just remembering living in ohio and having to start his car on cold winter mornings* standing cold, i can handle... windy cold makes me cry like a little girl.. |

Well, if they let the smokers run in and out, I don't think they'll mind me stepping out for some fresh air if I get overheated - which I do, because I don't tend to sweat and I have low blood pressure. But sticking my head out the door for a few minutes generally fixes that. Cools the blood. And I'm good to go again. Then I need to dance to get warm!
And the cycle begins again. Hurray! .:Kat:. |

smoke was always a part of the "rave funk" smell that i would have on myself when i got home that morning... its the mixture of Body odor, fake fog, menthol and non-menthol cigs, bad breath, vicks, etc. ... but i will get over it.

I thought here would be a good place to ask.
How would I go about bringing in advil? I injured my back at work a few years ago - sprained, specifically.. by falling off a flat with a 50lb box in my arms - and it tends to act up if I'm moving/standing for too long - meaning I need to sit down for long periods somewhere where there is lumbar support to ease the pain. However, if I take an anti-inflammitory (Advil, for instance) I can go longer, and not risk further injury, but I need to take it as soon as it starts to wear off or we're back to square one - meaning I need to keep the bottle with me. So how do I got about bringing it in? Present it to security when I get there? Let them find it in my bag? What? .:Kat, the broken raver:. Last edited by KandiKat : January 22nd, 2005 at 01:52 PM. |
