What I want to know is how did Prince know all the way back in the 80's that '99 was going to be the year for rockin' parties?

I changed my mind, I probably am going to raise the ticket price to accomodate a sizeable increase of the production budget. At $30 and the loss of the extra income from higher door sales it actually gives me LESS money to work with than any regular Hulla. We may not have a venue that will accomodate 2000 people, but I certainly can make it LOOK like we're parting like it was 1999 again.
The fact is for a lot of people in attendance this might be the last chance to experience a full-on rave and we can make it completely insane, one last time. And don't worry, I care greatly about our legacy (hence why we're going out in the fashion that we are) so this isn't any sort of cash grab, nor are we talking $75 either. I'm not going to say more till those details are released, but figured I'd mention it. |

Goodfellaz, for one thing, looks like Future Perfect Synergy are getting themselves going pretty well too... there's a number of companies looking to get started and get noticed lately and if the hullappl still want a party, hopefully the partiers and the promoters can work something out and we'll have a good time
It also occured to me yesterday to start becoming interested in what goes on in, say, New York, but I've yet to get on that one. I'm inspired by all the missions to Toronto everyone is talking about pulling on here to make Hulla and New Years Eve. or we all just become junglists. and well if you asked me i'd say something about raving, but i'm too tired to bother bringing that whole ish up. |

Then you obviously haven't looked at the Goodfellaz New Years Eve flyer... which i guess means you're making judgements based on nothing?

i never lie to the boarder agents. i tell them that i'm going to a club event in *insert city here*. when they ask what kind of event, just tell them a bunch of really good dj's are spinning. they'll probably say "you're coming all the way up here for a couple of dj's?" and you just say that there are a couple from the UK that you haven't ever had the chance to see before, and this was the closest place they were coming to you. they'll usually let you pass right on after that. i've only had my car searched once, and that wasn't even when i was going to a party, i was just going to the casino that day. maybe i should start lying to them though, eh? lol. the only thing i'm worried about is that my car is registered in and has ohio plates, while my drivers liscense is issued from new york. mabye i'll have the gf drive over... heh |

But you know the difference between us, is generally your coming into Canada, which i have been told has a less strict entrance then the US? Obviously you have to come back, but getting there is the hard part! Although I love your idea about the university thingy!

Canada is pretty lax about with their customs. Everytime I go back into the US, they ask me to pop my trunk, which makes it a hair stricter.
I'm sure it's worse if you live in Canada and are coming over though.. |

I'll never forget the time timmy was searched and they had all his flashing blinking toys and beads out on the counter, and asked him if he was going to a rave. And his response "No, I listen to house music, you must be confused" ... they thought for a second and then said ok have a nice day.
It's much easier to cross the border if you're going to a friend's house, have their name, phone number, and address handy. I haven't had any problems in the past year or so i've gone up there. But remember security is tighter now... always bring your birth certificate or a passport so you can prove your place of birth, an ID isn't always enough now. |

Ive generally had alot more trouble getting into canada than back into the states. Perhaps its because Im a US citizen, but it seems like getting into the US would be easier.
