When the guy working the bathrooms took my $5 bill and wouldn't give it back
And when I was pulled out into the lobby as a suspected drug dealer. Ahh, good memories. |

My favourites are mostly personal things w/ my friends... like Shlomo and also the time Shmee got up on stage.
If that didn't happen, I'm happier being wrong. But I'm pretty sure he went up with Derek

My favorite memories...
Simply surviving the trip to Enchanted is a favorite memory. That blizzard was hell... I wouldn't drive in even a light rain for a couple months after it, and forget snow of any sort. Frolic dropping Ravers Anthem, with MC Storm going off over it... I absolutely HATED that track before that night. I loathed it so much that I wished all copies would mysteriously destroy themselves, and mix CDs would magically start skipping over that track. But when it went on at Enchanted... it was amazing. Frolic dropped it at just the right time, and MC Storm was going at it full on, it was incredible... took it from the worst track ever created in any genre to something truly worthy of its name. Then later in the night I cried... in sheer happiness that I could be part of something so wonderful, and some sadness that there was only about an hour and a half left till we had to go home... People wanting to know where I got my drugs because I was so obviously ecstatically happy was funny too- I was sober that night. Sail Away... Even better. I didn't cry for this party, but I came close... Million Miles Away just hit me hard, like I found the happy place the character in the song was searching for. Sail Away, with Frolic standing in front of a ships sail, and right behind an old school ships wheel was crazy... Silver1 dropping the Braveheart theme... There were quite a few "if I die now my life is complete" moments at Sail Away. Silver1 also had me dancing when I had firmly decided I was going to sit his set out so I could dance to Subsonic Chronic, but I just couldn't sit still... I think I sat out maybe the first thirty seconds of his set before it drew me in and kept me up... then my knees nearly gave out in Subsonic Chronics set, I mean they almost failed on me and sent me to the floor three times, and even in the face of potential serious injury it took all of my willpower to stop dancing so I wouldn't get hurt. And a few people asked about drugs here too, for the same reasons, but again, I was sober. |

favorite hulla was when i met my girlfriend, aww, that was so sweet, i forget which party sometime in 99
and first hearing subsonic chronic at sunshine wayne's i think i've been to about 10 different hullabaloos, and my favorite parties are still the old ones where i don't remember much aside from being in a candy puddle and camping out in the middle of the dance floor, haha, that was the bingo hall for LA damn i woke up at 5:43 am to post that. I was thinking of past raves being that I'm going to visit my friend tonight and i've known him since 96, he's happily settled with his gf now and me, i'm still as if i started raving yesterday except i've long since ceased going and for me, i'm interested in meeting ppl at teacher's college rather than clubs |

...tears...
so sad to see hulla go...
my first hulla was hulla9 BIG TOP and well that was also my first rave ever!!!! i remember jumping on the bouncing castles and seeing the little girl dressed as a purple teletubbies... she gave me a bracelet... i made so many friends that night... kevin, who i watched liquid dance for hours upon hours after that and then just one day did it... got my white gloves and never looked back... kristy, whos smile was so contagious it filled you up with so much happiness even on the saddest day... and what made me fall in love with raving that night was SOS and his sick ass set... that made me love trance, raving and him as a dj... (hes still my fave!!) i still remember his signature track... it went totally quiet and then bam everyone went nuts!!!! me included... after that i went to a few more hullas and a bunch other parties and then took a break from raving for personal reasons... i have recently got back into it just solely because i miss it... and well hulla deserves me to come out and party and celebrate with them the huge success over the years... CONGRATULATIONS FROLIC!!! IT IS THE END OF A TRUE DYNASTY!!! WE WILL MISS YOU!!! boo |

Mine is simple. oct 9/99 hulla A VIEW TO A THRILL during frolics set his mother and sister dancing on stage in hounor of his birthday. Hands down that is my most memorable moment. a close second is hulla 13 dec.99 the toilets over flowed at the NEWS nightclub creating what was dubbed LAKE HULLA.
