Masters of the Rave: Hixxy vs. Scott Brown
That is a burning question I always wanted to know... So, who do YOU think is better, Hixxy with his saccharine mellow sounds or Scott Brown with his intense energetic sounds? Think of this as who puts out quality tracks and in terms of live performance.
1) Hixxy- Raverbaby all the way 2) Scott Brown- Evolution 0wns you |

the two aren't really comperable, because they are different sounds.
raver baby is driven more towards hhc, while evolution is mainly regular uk hardcore... i'm going with scott though.. sb = the man. |

funny thing is, lots of people haven't heard much of scott browns stuff, just what's spun at parties...
most people that like what they hear from him at parties, wouldn't like the lesser known stuff. raverbaby pwns for hhc scott brown pwns for hardcore would vote for both if i could.. |

Not really, I mean I have seen Scott Brown twice in Toronto and I have seen Hixxy twice in Toronto... When Scott Brown was here for FITS and LOTR, both of those sets were amazing... When Hixxy was here for Enchanted he was awesome, but when he was last here for Funtopia he was so blah

^^ Yeah man, when I had that Funtopia set I was like wtf, this set isn't so bad, its actually good but why didn't it sound so good live? I dunno, is so mystery to me, cause I remember running all the way from the bar when Hixxy came down and him opening up with the Theme, maybe it was the sound cause the sound sytem was so blah @ Funtopia, all I know is that Funtopia was my worst hulla ever, but Frolic playing heart of gold and Silver One vs. Wolf set probably saved that party from total destruction

lol that was my first hulla so i liked it cuz i had nothing to compare to!!! after hixxy i was like: "thats IT!?" but i think its because i didnt know the opening tracks at the time, nor died oh yet, tantric KILLED me though , then i was initially skeptical about the oldschoolness at the end, but yah |
