Buddy. I said I find they sound the same. As In, IN MY OPPINION. I don't give a donkey's fart what you think because this is my oppinion. And last time I checked, you weren't me. So don't tell me what I think. TO ME, they sound the same. TO YOU, they may not. Your jungle music is so boring to me it makes me want to vomit. So don't try and announce to me that my oppinion's suddenly changed, because it hasn't. You wasted your time shooting your mouth off to tell me... what? That the way the music sounds to me is wrong?? No, the way the music sounds to me, is the way it bloody well sounds to me. PLUR, Chip

Im a big jungle fan. I was into Jungle long before I was into hardcore and Marcus is really good. I have only seen him at Hullabaloo actually.
His set will also feature MC JDs "robot shuffle" (his funny little walk he does whenever he spits). So even if you dont like jungle, JD should be enough to keep you entertained, especially when he starts busting his bilingual flows. |

In terms of hardcore and jungle sounding the same, it's (as most ppl around here know, i expect) because jungle was originally an offshoot of hardcore, specifically breakbeat hardcore
if you listen to Prodigy's Out of Space and then M-Beat + General Levy's Incredible, that's basically what happened - one of those is hardcore and one is jungle and they are, I believe, a year apart, with Out of Space being '92 and Incredible being '93 just for anyone who didn't know that and yes, some jungle switches the beat up continuously throughout, but yes, some jungle uses a sample of an old funk drumming break, looped continuously from the start of the track through to the end. but don't confuse boring jungle with the whole of jungle.

Hi AstroCreep
Were you like shitting your pants off while writing that message not know if the power would turn off and erase your message close to the end? Good knowledge of music though. Very intellectual and informative |

This is why junglists and candy ravers dont get along.
You know that jungle and hardcore are pretty much the same music? There was even a party 5 years ago (Hardsound) that had not only hardcore headliners but jungle ones as well. It was a great mix and a great party (kudos to you Frisky). Back when I partied I remember people use to not go to jungle parties because they were afraid of people at them. I went to many jungle parties with my crew and the best party I ever went to (personal opinion) was a Big Bud party (jungle promoters). Of course there are people you should avoid there, just like there are people on the street you are to afraid to talk to. Jungle has a bad rap, people who listen to jungle arent all "SIGN MY BOOK, WANT SOME CANDY, LETS BE BEST FRIENDS RIGHT NOW" but thats not what jungle is about. People are more intrested in listening to music and dancing, and sure people look "tougher" but that doesnt mean that you should be afraid of them. Trust me, junglists know how to party, & dance and in general are friendly if you arent a complete nitwit. |

Yeah I avoided getting the book cause they annoy me....liek they arent going to remember me anyways why do i need to like sigh something....I will give someone candy if they ask but I dont care enough to offer. As for the being friends right now....that is too annoying for me to deal with...I would want to hit myself if I did that. I just find it kinda hard to talk to some of them because of my kandified exterior.. |

Likely in a few months you wont dress like that anymore. Its a raver stage. Your still in the new candy stage. Everyone goes through it. Soon after 7 years you will be in the post rave retirement stage. Where you'll go to raves sporadically like an old person migrating to their condo in Florida. The best stage is the 3 year sober stage... where you think your better than everyone beacause you go sober. At this stage you will start to not party as much because people on e annoy you. Speaking of Florida... who needs an X-Box. Get out your baseball bats... (who said its too soon?) |
