wow, what an amazing time!! i cant wait to hear all the sets! thanks to the frolic's for booking jules and i, and thanks to the ravers who requested us, we had a fucking blast playing cheese/anthems for all you nuttahs. at the end of our set i was shaking like a leaf because of the energy in that place...10pm and it was REALLY loud in there...HOLY FUCK! im glad that you all enjoyed our set that much and gave it your all for the tika and scoots sing-a-long hour, and i hope to be back on the hullabastage again soon!

I had an amazingly wikkid time! -- even got my Punk-rock roomy to come along, and he FUCKING LOVED IT! hahahaha, he's not so hardcore anymore!

i've been putting this off for a bit..partly because i've been sick...partly because not knowing when i will see my rave lovelies again...is a little sad
ANYWAYS the weekend started out great, with a trip to the bar for my birthday sorry to anyone who saw me way after my sobriety left town first i want to say that TIKA and SCOOTS rocked my socks...SINGALONG CENTRAL JAMES, amazing as usual the rest of the night (music wise) was just kinda meh...i had fun, but the music didn't blow me away i did however meet/reunite with some super ultra mega happy fun people tho XSTACEY: i am so sorry i didn't meet your coolness much earlier in my times to toronto. you are so sweet and i can't thank you enough for my popple...i must have told everyone like 9 times about how cool you were. i'm glad you enjoyed your pink sparklies and your bunny we must meet again!RITA: also a totally sweet girl, you had so much fun and just exude vibe, it was great to meet you ROB AND TYSON: woooo shirtless boy crew! lol you all were just too cute SPICEY DAVE AND RHOD: holy fun batman! you both were great times to hand around. i hope i can visit someday and you know you're always more than welcome to come to the states and i'll take you to an all you can eat buffet! and for those not in the know...dave=best hugs ever...i actually think i am going through withdrawl GOODFELLAZ CREW: you guys always take care of us when we're in the area...thanks so much for that. i may have to come invade milo's dorm room sometime and come visit! Well, I wrote a long review the day after, but it disappeared when I hit 'post', so here goes again.
First off, thanks to Hullabaloo for seven wonderful years. It's incredible the number of intense memories I have from my own nearly five and a half years of attending. It's truly becoming a second family for me. Secondly, thanks to DJ Wolf... it was at the six year when he first got me the chance to MC at Hullabaloo, and it was four years ago when I first MCed for Wolf vs. Silver1. The two of them combined completely destroyed the dancefloor, and I never cease to be amazed at the talent and creativity. The track selection was unbelievably good, and the Wolf's scratching second to none. Do the Cha Cha. Other sets of note... Anabolic Frolic... everything one of your sets should be. You played monster choonage, you read the crowd perfectly, and you had me dancing like it's 1999, which hasn't happened in FOREVER. I think you and I might have been the only two in the place who knew what was coming in when you dropped Eyeopener 99... I loved every minute of it. Hixxy... some people are talking bad about his set, but I thought it was one of the best Hullabaheadliner sets in a long long time. He played a variety of stuff, new and old, which I'd rather hear over a DJ who just plays an hour of his own new stuff that all sounds the same. The crowning touch was about ten minutes after I told him that hearing 'Blue Sky Day' made my New Years Eve at Slammin', he dropped it, then gave me the wink and the gun. He's got a new fan. Frisky... I keep telling you you're going to be one of the biggest names Happy Hardcore has ever seen, and you proved why. Your own tracks are awesome, and you mix them up with other artist's tracks that mingle perfectly... your mixing is rock solid, and you're a crowd favourite for all of these reasons and more. Great set. Thanks to all of you for your kind words and support... I can't pay too close attention to your reviews though, or my head might swell and I'll never make it back out the door.
