this is going to spell disaster for all the pot smokers too it looks like
no longer can you pretend your joint is a cigarette and have a puff.. (now... im not a pot smoker, so i really cant comment on cravings/addiction/need) although i AM a smoker, and an addicted one at that.. unfortunately, i have tried to quit in the past, obviously with little to no luck. since june 1st, ive cut back drastically, as i havent been able to smoke at work like i used to, and i dont smoke much at home... only when im driving pretty much... so it's not TOO bad, but i still have my puff.. you can count on me NOT smoking inside, but if there is a designated area outside, you'll see me there a few times through the night... i figure, if i continue my slow quitting pattern, i'll have 4-5 through the night... hopefully less...

This is a good thing. I hate pot moreso than tabacco... the smell of pot makes me want to hurl all over the person smoking it. Finally, a pot-free zone! I'm lovin' it!

This is a plus for smokers who want to quit. I use to smoke years ago. I don't anymore. But when I go you to a bar and see other people smoking all around me I want to also. If you smoke and want to quit take advantage of this new law to help you break the habbit.

this wont help people quit. this is going to cause everyone to start chain smoking as soon as hulla is over, and everyone is outside. how many cigarettes will be lit within the first 5 minutes when we're all outside?

For the most part, everyone who ever went to hulla, or any rave really, should be happy that venue owners bridged the law for as long as they did. If you look at the old law, the fact that there was anyone under 19 in the building should have automatically meant that there should be no smoking inside. This law will take some getting used to by everyone, but to be honest, it will be good for all of us in the end.

No smoke makes me happy (well ... not really), but it will be nice to see no smoke. Realistically the smoke wasn't bad, When I saw Mudvayne a few years ago it was TERRIBLE, and worse than either of the hulla's I've been to.

but wait i have gotten the random french kiss makeout session with an etard
she was feeling lonely since her friends had been sucking face all night so she asked me who was standing beside her, ahh, that was with the flamethrower for the halloween party at the docks, haha, she wouldn't tell me her name nor her number, best form of birth control! and then I guess I have had some rave romances, but no random hugs from completely wrecked ppl it just doesn't happen, either i'm at a rave with a girl already or i'm running around already talking to ppl that i sorta recognise and dancing ... aww whatever, i'd rather meet a sober person in the mall that would stop to talk to me ask me my name and meet up with them again raving, hah, i'm not even bitter, but it's pointless even getting to know someone's name |

You can probably still smoke... not a joint but a one hitter and if you want to be really cautious... blow it thru a bounce dryer sheet filled toilet paper tube Remember the fine for pot is less than the fine for cigarettes.

I know all the non-smokers are happy, too bad thats not gonna stop all these buisnesses from losing a lot of money.
I'm sure there will be a somewhat noticeable diffrence in the population for Hulla. I remember 6 year Frolic talked about stopping Hulla because the attendance was so low, there was smoking that time though. |

I work for the city...
Right now the inspectors are generally speaking focusing just on the club owners, but they ARE NOT being lenient at all… Infact all the inspectors are working CRAZY over time especially starting late june, early july…. bc. by that time the clubs have had enough time to get stuff totally in order and they should have no excuses. I'm an ex-smoker, but even when I was a smoker I hated the way I smelt when I left a bar. I PERSONALLY LOVE THE NEW BY-LAWS.
