Yeah like a bunch of ravers at a HAPPY HARDCORE party are going to riot. Keep in mind if people choose to smoke they will be find if the cops or health officials show up. I think the Opera House would also get fined for not kicking people out. maybe all you smokers should think of packing a bounce tube with you to blow smoke thru... oh wait. we're talking about nicotine.

I think this really sux about not permitting smoking in restaurants and what-not, because 1st of all, if the government wanted to legalize smoking from the very beginning, then they should have thought about all the horrible effects that's it's going to someday have on ppl/environment. This is just my 2 cents here...so i mean i'm not getting mad at anyone in general, and especially not anabolic cuz he's doing what he can about that situation i'm assuming...but i'd be VERY dissapointed if we can't smoke anywhere @ Hulla's anymore because not only are Hulla's basically my fav. party's, but smoking happens to be one of my past times...so to not be able to combine the 2 would make me very angry. To those of u who don't smoke, and at previous hulla's had to indure the stuff'yness of the Opera house i'm sure all us smoker's are sorry...but plz realize that because of the government 1st of all allowing cigarettes to be sold....and the fact that they are highly addictive, i don't know if i speak for anyone else aswell, but i would not be able to go from 8-9:00 when doors open to the next morning without a smoke. I just think that's not fair at all....
So...Anabolic my question to u is: Is there anything that u think maybe can happen to the Opera house so that all the smoker's who love going to Hulla can still smoke but not stuff up the entire building with smoke for all those non-smokers....?!?!?! ~*P.L.U.R*~

yes, read the whole thread please. i hear your argument, but...atleast your government is attempting to right the wrongs they made in the past, just because back when they didnt know smoking was dangerous, they sold cigarettes, doesnt make it right for ANY of us on this board to be smoking, i seriously doubt anyone on here started before it was common knowledge that it was dangerous for us to do it.
I applaud the Ontario government for starting to try and fix things.

Hehe, jokes.
Better post security in the bathrooms 24/7. And I can only imagine there will be some sort of back room for all the special guests to smoke freely none-the-less. ; p |

^^ Sounds about right.
And I bet most of the smokers started after the government issued warnings on the cigarette pagkages, they have been trying to right this wrong for quite a while. Even Ireland has gone smoke free. We all saw this coming, I understand it's hard to be addicted to something, especially when you can't get your fix. But you should try to have a good time and allow the rest of us to have a good time as well. Anabolic Frolic has said that he's going to try to figure something out. You gotta be happy about that. I am stepping off my soap box now.

*LIKORisQUIKER* you're not even old enough to buy smokes legally!! (according to your profile that is)
So its not fair to blame the government for selling them when you're the one who's obtaining them illegally. im sorry if i sounded mean... i didn't want to!
