It's not like it's the news trying to collect inflamatory footage. There's a chance one might be captured in a crowd shot dancing or something, but I imagine the camera thats out talking with ravers is going to be swamped with people wanting to be on there, so it's not like you're going to be there minding your own business and then all of a sudden a camera is in your face.

The purpose of this doc is historical record of what Hullabaloo is all about so in many years people can look at it reflect on this period of history in a positive light. I've become driven recently to make sure there's some good archives about all of this. Not sure if it's because I have a baby on the way or what and you think about your place in the world and history more, but I want to make sure that years from now, when all these websites, photos online etc.. are sitting in some scrapheap somewhere and long forgotten, there's something historians can look at. Or at least my grandkids, and maybe yours too if you kept a copy .

It looks like we'll be "featuring" a handful of hulla ravers before during and afterwards.

We're looking to document some dedicated ravers going through their pre-hulla rituals like preparing their outfits, beads, giveaways, getting ready to go to the party etc.. and then afterwards we'll probably arrange to follow some post-party stuff wherever that might end up.

This would be in addition to any of the random interviews and such during the night.

hmm... this sounds like a great idea. Wouldn't be dancing in front of the camera, but would love to give my impressions as its my first Hulla. Either that or just wander into a shot so when I buy it I can show people that I was in a film.
