I won't be there unless Hulla surprises me with it's roster of DJs.
I was not fond of so much HHC last Hulla. What happened to Hulla's like Digital Outlaws? Would it be so bad to have half HHC and half Other and mix em out so theres not like 5 straight hours of mind-aching HHC? Till things get a bit more extensive, I won't be back. : p |

There's too many other parties for other genres of music.
I agree with some diversity but 1/2 is too much. Hulla is a Hardcore party 1st (correct me if I'm wrong here) Besides not all DJ's even play the same style of Hardcore. Steve

The last Hulla didn't have any period where there were 5 straight hours of HHC, unless you have some really weird definition of HHC... |

There actually wasn't very much happy hardcore at this Hulla, there was a lot more freeform than usual though. Maybe if you knew what you were talking about, your criticism would be more valid.

At least three days, if you speed straight through without stopping. If you like to sleep once in a while, probably more like 4 or 5. |

hey kizzy:: If you're really serious about driving from CA to TO, get in touch with Littleb27333 on the hullaboards...he's not on here much, but you can get his AIM handle and e-mail and whatnot from there. He drove from Colorado to Hulla in July last year and is planning to do it again this year...he'd probably be able to give you the best idea on how long it would take and what ways to go.
As much fun as roadtrips are, flying would be a whole lot cheaper most likely, and easier...You can fly on America West for like $220 roundtrip from SFO to T.dot if you go a thursday - monday trip...good luck!!

I once drove from Detroit to Washington state, and it took 3 days straight through. Toronto is another 5 hours from Detroit, and I'm sure that the distance to San Fran will add at least another day. Seriously, unless you have two weeks to make this trip you'd better fly.

Its not Hardcore, it's Happy Hardcore, big diffrence, actually A HUGE DIFFRENCE.
I could listen to Hardcore forever, as for Happy Hardcore, no thanks. Theres too many other parties that play other genre's of music and so thats why Hulla is devoted to HHC (even though it was never so in the day where there was a bit of everything). Yeah okay. I'm sure Hulla's will end sooner or later now that Frolic si starting a family anyways. Hey Frolic, you gonna let your kid go to Hulla without your supervision? > : ) *doubts it* |

the last long roadtripp i went on was from grand rapids, michigan to las vegas, nevada when i moved out there. all of our worldly possessions, 3 guys and a all black cat in the car for 52 hours. we stopped in boulder, colo. to stay w/ a couple friends of friends of mine for 3 days, but our total driving time was 52 hours. i was surprised as hell we made it there that quick.
i've traveled all over this country in car to go to parties. it's fun as hell sometimes. but from one end of the conitinent to the other is kinda a stretch. it will def be cheaper to fly. especially the way gas prices are. plus, toronto is a good place to actually spend a couple days. enjoy the city. and it's not like you'd be alone. if u stay in the days inn or the best western pirmrose you will be alongside a grip of other party kids. including me lololol. hope to see you there!!!! ~X~alpha~X~ |
