Wow, you have to be the only other person I've ever met who has read that book. Cool.
A friend on one of my weblogs posted that calling "the baby" (her term - to me, it's a fetus) the Tyrant wasn't the most affectionate name. So I'd like to mention that it's also a reference to the boss character in the Resident Evil games, which I and Frolic both love. So it's actually a *good* association.  (Besides, it's better than the previous nickname the fetus had when it was still an embryo.) |

 PS...Demian is also the name of the young priest in the Exorcist (a movie a lot more people have seen than the omen, i'm sure)...except in the Exorcist, it's pronounced "Deh-mi-an", not "Day-mi-an"...i wasn't sure which way you were going to pronounce it

The UTT - it stood for "Ugly Tadpole Thing". (That wasn't a negative comment on the embryo, it was simply an aesthetic fact - at that stage, they're ugly tadpole things - if you don't believe me, look at http://departments.weber.edu/chfam/...ages/5WEEKS.gif .) > it's pronounced "Deh-mi-an" That one. |
