JaMGiRL is pretty damn good I love watching her. Make sure you find us / her and she'll show you some moves. Not hard. Trust me, first time I went to a party and saw people whipping around glowsticks I was amazed and wanted to learn myself. The whole glowstix on string is a lot harder to learn though. You can always find good websites on POI and techniques. If you just want to learn moves without strings.. all it takes is practice. I think i'm alright, just took a lil time to actually feel comfortable with what I was doing. Once you get over the fact that no one cares how you look doing it, you build up confidence. Just like the first time I tried dancing to this whole new style of music. Once I got into it.. I couldn't care less how people saw me. I was having the time of my life.My advice to you would be. Just let the music flow through you. Be comfortable with what your doing and just start off easy. Oh yea!! I almost forgot. ALWAYS and I mean ALWAYS hehe..mix great colours together. Makes for great effects PeAcE gurl! |
