I've been talking to a lot of people today and everyone is just buzzing about this weekend. It reminds me of what makes Hulla so great. It's not just the time we spend at the party itself, but the weeks or months before hand as we all bide our time towards the next Hulla date.

We've all got "the sickness" and there's only one cure.

Hulla has gone through some changes over the years, but man, WE'RE STILL HERE!!!! and still going strong!! Here it is, the year 2003 and we're pushing into our 6 year anniversary with no signs of slowing down.

Now, of course most of you reading this and attending Hulla this weekend haven't been attending our shows for the past 6 years - but that's ok! Hulla's lifeblood is in it's enthusiastic crowds, and as long as we have enthusiastic new blood to carry the flag, we'll keep going.

Rave is a dirty word these days. We don't even use it ourselves and there's no mention of it on our website anymore but HULLA IS RAVE. The original raving spirit lives strong within the walls of Hulla despite how difficult it might be to find it elsewhere.

I started Hulla because no one was throwing the kind of parties I wanted to attend myself, and here we are 6 years later and I still haven't found a replacement. I can't wait!

Fuck yeah! No matter how badly the 'rave' scene in Canada has gotten, no matter how much more different and distilled this scene has gotten, that same original spirit is alive and well in Hulla. Please Chris, keep Hulla going for years to come. It's all we have left!

That's the honest to goodness truth. The best part about hulla is the prepping...the figuring out what you're gonna wear, where you're going to meet people you can't wait to see again, or people you've only met on the boards, making boatloads of kandi, finding toys to bring, and just being so darned antsy that you wanna go camp out in front of the opera house 3 weeks before hulla's even scheduled to begin. Hulla is just like Christmas, except there's never any let down afterwards! I've only gone to two parties with Hulla (my first two parties, ever) but at both of them, I have gotten exactly what I wanted out of the night, and as soon as it's over, I've started looking forward to the next one.

i am truly excited i live to go to these parties. i would much rather spend the time and money on goin to toronto for hullabaloo parties then goin to nyc for a party. the vibe is soo amazing. i can't wait i can't wait!!!!!!!!!
