Why would we switch to monopoly money?
I mean, that's what we keep Canada around for. That, and because we always needed a 51st state. *starting shit*

while you're picking up useful things from canada, you can also get the following
- a real leader - a health care system - proper schools - decency

1. we did not elect him.
2. okay, you got me there. 3. I went through American public schools and have recieved a VERY good education. I attend a city college that is nationally known for excellence. Yes not all public schools are good, but the ones I went to were very good. 4. I hope you dont assume that all Americans are indecent, or that all Canadians ARE decent. I can understand that you're proud, Canada is very nice. Great. But taking cheap shots at things most Americans have no control over is juvenile. Most people I know are NOT happy with our "leader", to say the least. Most of us would like a nationalized health care system. There are many many proper schools. And yes,the majority of us ARE decent. I personally would prefer Canada or Canadian democracy over what we have here, but this is where I am, and this is where I am from. Believe it or not there is a lot of beautiful things and beatiful people here. Theres much to hate, but theres also much to love. So cut it out.

OK.....I cross the border EVERY weekend.....
My list of shit to do and not to do since in my 3 years of crossing the border I have been stopped 3 times and twice was because they thought I wasn't coming back to Canada. 1. Make sure you have ID on you. If you are not an american citizen...such as a landed immigrant...you must have your green card. 2. Always be polite. I find it works out well if you have a smile on your face when you pull up. Let the driver answer all questions unless you are asked by the immigration guy. Make sure everyone knows that SAME story. If you do get pulled over, don't worry....if you have nothing to hide, then jsut smile and be helpful if they ask anything...it will get you through faster. 3. Don't be smug or bitchy to ANY of the border guards....they have the discression to turn you away from Canada and they don't need to have a reason. 4. DO NOT bring any drugs over the border. 5. If possible, clean your car before you leave. Knowing ravers, you might find old vials, baggies, and papers in your car hidden under things. Always keep your car clean when crossing the border. It means that there is less stuff for them to throw all over the place and if they jsut want to look in your trunk, all they will see is a few back packs and a spare tire. Make sure to vaccuum at least once to make sure you got everything. 6. Don't wear your candy gear or have rave flyers sitting around. Border guards HATE raves....and they will make your life a living hell if they knwo you are going to a rave. Also, if you have candy bracelets hanging from your rear view mirror.....take them down. Its jsut one less thing for them to question. 7. Remember that basically you have no rights at the border....what they say goes. If you slip up even slightly....they will turn you away at the border. Just be nice, smile and if you can make them laugh without it being a joke about terrorisim or drugs...then do it..... I made one of them laugh when I told him that they pulled the crotch off the Sadam statue in Iraq. That was when he said "ok...*giggle* go ahead" I think thats a good recap on everything? Sound good to you guys? |

AHHH NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
New Yorkers Hate New jersy, The only good things about jersy are: Jenn, My Grandma, and the grounds for sculpture. Other than that, it smells funny, you cant pump your own gas, all stores are closed on sunday and you have to make a right to make a left. Dont even get me started on the road signs. Its like as soon as you go over the George WashingtoN bridge, your in the state of confusion. I think NYC should be its own little entity. And then join forces with Toronto. It will be the "The New York-Ontario city territories" |

The deal depends on which bus line you take. Me and my friend couldn't ge it when we went greyhound to get hype. Theres a billion little bus companies within greyhound, or something like that. They do have a student discount thing, but you have to buy the student discount card and then you can get 20% off or something, it depends how much your paying (obviously) if its a deal or not, but you can use the card at some stores and stuff. They stink. My ticket was $129 with this spring break dealie they had going on, but thats over now. |

Hmm... I must have really lucked out... where I am, tix are 50 round trip, and if I travel with someone else and buy the tix at least a week ahead of time, their ticket is free (so basically we each pay 25 for round trip instead of 50).
Of course, doing this every other weekend still hurts the pocketbook. |

The alert went to Orange again two (now three) days ago, because of "reliable intelligence"... which is, of course, legalese for "bullshit"

No no... only "evil" countries get weapons inspectors inside. We're keeping them out of "occupied Iraq" too. :\ |
