Dont even waste your time.
If you want frolic to change the venue then youre going to have to find a venue downtown that fits all the legal criteria and then you'll have to throw a party there to prove that it works. Then MAYBE he'll consider it. This must get annoying for him becuase even im getting tired of seeing all these threads whining about the Opera House, and I hate that place the most.

If by change you mean to stop throwing parties then you may have something because that's the only option. When the police shut us down for Digital Outlaws it was unclear for about a week if the Opera House could or would want to do any more events I thought Hulla had died right there and then.
It amazes me that to this day people still complain about everything! You're blessed by having one of the best known, most consistent and longest running rave promoters operating so closely to you when the scene around North America is collapsing. We operate in a venue most Americans would KILL to have access to in their home cities and all I ever hear on here is "find another venue". It's lucky that I put most of the weight on the attendance of our parties, the vast majority of which leave completely satisfied and not the minority on here since if I did listen to you I would have stopped throwing Hullas a while ago. I'm not kidding when I say this, but those who complain about things than cannot be changed are only taking away from my motivation to continue these events and are responsible for my eventual retirement as a promoter and the death of Hulla. Hulla will likely be at the Opera House till the end, and when the day comes that attendance isn't what it once was we'll call it a day. In the meantime we'll continue to throw events that people from all over North America love and celebrate. |

no sense in changing venues, the opera house is perfect for hulla events. does the venue really make a difference?....i'm just plaesed to see that the vibe is still kickin', the dj's are amazing and the overall achievement of throwing a wicked jam will keep going strong!!!!!!!!

Im curious as to why England and all over Europe they have superclubs
Like Godskitchen, Creamfields etc... I mean i know England is the land of Rave and basically all the promotion and DJ money is there because all the headliners are from there. But that just gives u more of a reason to push our stuff. All the promoters..past and present gotta get together and build a superclub in the lakeshore area...its the only way the scene is gonna survive. I mean we were very lucky no to loose the opera house after Digital Outlaws. Who's to say that luck streak will continue with another fiasco....Promoters gotta fight the power...say fuck y'all... and build a club. Of course it will be a bit of moneypit at first but..after a while the money will come in as u establish the scene more.

but the scene has already been established....we're just in a downtime right now...we are the post post rave generation...
i may be talking out of term, but i think it's gonna have to take a big upsurge again to build a club |

Ryan, I know you just didn't say sorry to Frolic. As soon as Hullabaloo dies... god I still can't wait for that day, then a better mega happy fun fun party hardy Happy to my hard to my godamn core production company will take over. let's face it, Hullabaloos are the basics of Happyhardcore for newbies. The only reason some of us go to these hullas is so we can abduct the potential little party kids and teach em that their is so much better things than frolic spinning tears run cold! so Fun fur wearing whistle blowing back massauging light stick twirling kandy soldjahs stand the fuck and hold ur heads up high, and give hulla the finger because HHC is our's and we will take it back from the money hungry over chargin frolic and PARTY in a new venue. Listening to Luna c and Dj stabby. Whoa I rambled that was fun.
