My first party was in Cleveland.. '7even' in '03 …it was pretty tight. I've always wanted to make it for one of those ohio leash parties but they're always on like Friday or Sunday. So that doesn't work. But I would love to hit up some ohizzle pizzles.

I can't believe I missed this thread for soooooo long.

My highlighting moments of Hulla were based around the people I met!

(Chronological order)
1) Meeting Joe (happy1) outside waiting for the movie premiere. He was the first raver we saw so we just started chatting him up, next thing you know we're eating together and it's all gravy from there. =D He was super nice and got our Hulla weekend off to an awesome start.

2) Meeting Mary & Anthony on the night of the premiere- WE LOVE YOU GUYS TOO!!! You two were super nice and it was a funny coincidence that you were the second people we met, (that's right... you and Mary are one people =P) and I had just spoken to you online that morning. Hulla is an EXTRA SMALL WORLD. Your guidance in the strange ways of Canadians and their transportation was much appreciated! ;P

3) Met Frolic the night of the premiere. So I went up to him and tried to keep my gushing like a 13 year old school girl to a minimum... Oh yeah, and I made it known that I was the bellydancer he referred to his wife. And then i probably gushed some more. And then I took a picture w/ him after the movie/hypno show as well... **HAPPINESS**

4) Met Robin on Hulla night. It was awesome to finally meet the person I had been talking to for the previous months. And I was super excited to find another bellydancer.

5) Final 3 songs of Hulla. I cried my eyes out like a little girl during the last 3 songs. I was just so happy to finally be there at Hulla. It was just like I had always dreamed but BETTER! I also randomly jumped on Frolic and hugged him a couple times during those 3 songs when he was in the crowd.

6) Group Hug. I think I saw my life flash before my eyes as my face was squished into Robin's shoulder under the weight of 1,000 people. I dunno if she heard me but I yelled into her ear "We're GOING TO DIE IN THIS GROUP HUG!!!" Then I was covered in the spit and sweat of 1,000 ravers. Yay, I got squished onto Robin!

7) Met Pat & Laura. We (Valerie and myself) actually met them at the end of the party. They were another awesome couple!

-They were sweet enough to take us to pick up all our stuff from the hotel
-let us shower and crash out in their hotel room for a few hours
-took us to Cherry Beach with them
-took us to the airport in Missagau
-then they came back and picked us up after we MISSED our flight (overturned semi-truck on freeway=bad traffic,)
-then we all went to dinner together
-and they insisted that we crash out in their room for the night before we went to the airport for our replacement flight...

Now they are the EMBODIMENT of PLUR! If there is some award for the PLURRIEST people at Hulla it would have to be given to Patrick and Laura.

Wow, that is really nice. That's what I love about a weekend in Toronto for Hulla. Lots of nice people!
