Well its a bummer that Hulla's are ending. But lets look at it positively...at least we have 4 more hulla's to attend and who knows...maybe the end of this will be the start of something new.

I went to my first hulla in July at Funtopia. I was hope to be going to them for many years to come, but I still feel lucky that I'll be able to get a full year's worth of them. I only wish I started going earlier.
Its always sad when something so special ends. But there is also an opportunity. Another promoter (or promoters) will step up and deliver the huge parties.
Thank you Frolic and all the DJ's I have seen play at the Opera House. The last two Hullas rank up there as some of the best nights I've had. The last 4 will be even better. Hulla is gonna go out in style, there's no question about it.

wow....hulla has been nothing but good times for me....and the last four will be nothing but the best times....I've met so many people, and have had the privilage to be inducted onto the friendship crew, which I will never forget! Who knows what the future will hold, but as I've gotten to know many of you....you all hold the past parties and memory of hullabaloo close....so I think that's all that matters....that no one will forget.

I read the thread on the front end and couldn't beleive it. Not two months ago I stumbled across what seems to be the best, most pure, scene and people in North American rave culture and than it starts to go away. I understand though, having a four month old girl at home.

I wish you both, no, all three of you, the best of luck. I plan on making it to every event from Dec to June, share that pure vibe with as many of my STL crew as possible. Frolic, I hope to meet you at one of the upcoming events and shake your hand. I'm sure you have had a greater effect on those around you and the city as whole than you will ever know or could possibly imagine.

To the rest of the Toronto natives. You have a decision to make. You can either let this great vibe you have fade away after Hulla. Or you can tow the line. Frolic has left giant shoes to fill, but the foundation is there to do something a hundred times better. You have everything you need to just explode onto the scene and be the second coming of rave history. Just do it. I know you have it in you.

And to Frolic, again. Your legacy will live on for a long long time, where you leave off a dozen inspired persons will pick up. I can feel it. Something tells me that all the work you've done will not be in vain, you have started what may be the single biggest upswing in the history of raving.

I'm looking forward to seeing everyone in december, and every party after that. And, who knows, at the next production companies parties some time down the road.

wow...i always kinda thought hulla would be around forever...i know it was a naive thought, but it kept me happy inside...

Thanks Chris, Robin, Friendship Crew, and everyone else who has made the past 2 years so enjoyable...Thanks to hulla I've made more new friends than I'll ever be able to count, and made more wonderful memories than I had in my previous 22 years.

I won't be able to make it to most of the remaining hullas probably, but you best believe I'll fedex myself to toronto in June if necessary. I'm already looking forward to the reunion specials

Even tho oi have only been to 2 hullas it was always a dream for me to make it to at least one. How that dream has happened i so happy that we did the track to meet everyone that i have along the way. To all my friends that i have meet out there we will try are hardest to make it out one more time for the last one. To Chris and robin thanks for making it one of the best times in my life.

Honestly, I might have had my botherings with somethings, but I don't think there ever will be a production that will ever come close to replacing hullas ... My first return to the scene after quiting the scene was a hulla party, and it was because of hulla that I returned to the scene and kept on partying ... It was because of a hulla party that I was introduced to the most talented dj in the world, and learned what PLUR was... I'll never forget my first hulla party and I have only missed one hulla since my first hulla... Again this a terrible news and more than sorry to hear this... Thanks for the memories, and yes, I'm holding back tears

I have my suggestions but i'll keep them to myself. Sad to see a great company go though, especially seeing as i've met SO many incredible people because of it.

Well... I think we all knew it was coming, eventually... all good things must come to an end (if only so that new good things can come to light). I found happy hardcore because a co-worker one day said "come on out to my car and check out this music I found," and it was, on Happy 2b Hardcore, "All That You See and Hear..." I found raving because I did a couple of searches for the music and found the hullaboard... I owe the biggest definitive and positive change in my life directly to the Frolics and, through them, to Hullabaloo... everything I've discovered and enjoyed since then - the incredible people, the amazing music, the memories (and the forget's )... everything was made possible, at the start, through Hullabaloo.



Your first Hullabaloo;
The first time someone gave you a whistle;
That feeling when you first walked into the door and the sound washed over you;
The first time someone said "Happy Hullabaloo" and gave you a hug;
When the headliner played an unreleased remix of your favourite track;
When Frisky closed the night with "Children of the Night";
When they cut the music and you could hear 800 ravers singing along to "Shooting Star";
Standing in the lineup with kids from 13 states and three countries all standing next to you;
The first time you got absolutely smashed at a Hullabaloo;
When you talked in the washroom for three hours;
Those f'ng stairs;
When Michael Jatas came to Hulla to flier;
When you drank for 2 hours with that guy at the bar, and only stopped when he said "hang on, I have to go spin now";
When you got home from a Hulla and had 56 pieces of paper and everyone had an email or PR name on it;
Standing outside at 6 AM on a Sunday morning shouting "Let’s go to Cherry Beach!" and everyone actually does;
The first time you got a CD, and one for your friend, too;
Partying right through the SARS scare;
Partying right through the blackout;
Bumping into someone and having them apologize;
Dancing;
Singing;
Loving;
Raving.
