Rural is my favorite word. You can't say it without sounding drunk. Go on! Try it!

and to whoever said that they consider everything outside Toronto to be rural, that's not quite true... Okay, a lot of Ontario is rural, but there is also a lot of suburban sprawl (which I find yucky (no offense to the people who call that home)) but outside Ontario the rest of the world has a lot of Urban areas... I am rambling. I tried saying rural to see if it is a word you can't say without sounding drunk and it's true. |

Awesome!!! I thought 21 was old for a first rave... But you being 24 makes me HAPPY!!!
Because it means that other than me and my chum there will be people there my age (and better yet, newbies my age). |

I used to listen to Happy Hardcore in Highschool, I got songs recommended to me by friends who were ravers ( I ended up really liking a lot of them, especially when they were songs that I knew in their original form). I would make cds or tapes (depending on whether or not I could e-mail the song lists to friends who had burners -- Such new fangled devices did not exist in my house until a year and a bit after I graduated) and listen to them between classes... Made me really hyper, I'm sure my teachers loved me.
It makes me happy to see that you, Seizure, were also a 20something newbie raver. Three cheers to all the 20somethings!!! Hip hip... Hourray!!! |

i started listening to happy hardcore one month before going to my first rave, wich was in december 2003, and before that i was listening to pretty much anything, from speed dance to trance, and now im all about HappyHardcore and Eurobeat. And im kinda curious about something, is ther other peoples on these boards that listen to Eurobeat?
I have another question, this time more related to the thread :P are we allowed to bring our lightsticks at Hulla? |

i'm never quitting partying even when i have kids,oh darn, i think i may have one, hmm, so hard to tell who's the dad nowadays, but whatever, i think i may cut back to help babysit my kid but i've met lotsa ppl at hulla that do have kids, dayum, i met lotsa ppl around 18 /19 that have kids but my lifestory, <-- 1998 started to jump on the bandwagon of mainstream raves at the Better Living Centre / CNE and I was living away from my parents why not start?? i even went sober ... now i'm 25, look 25, so i'm ugly, haha, and actually graduated university, i usually hang out at malls trying to meet ppl and raves are a bit more fun to attend to chill at and talk to ppl, i really wanna meet ppl from this board because in general i find internet ravers to be more savvy than street kids but whatever, i'll talk to every1 cuz i am sketch a roonie oh and i'm bringing nothing, but I'll gladly accept all of your presents CHEERS PS u should make ppl do stuff like cartwheels before u give them a bracelet and what not, i'll do whacky stuff for ya |

Here's a piece of advice for new hulla ravers: for christ's sake watch your step on the stairs.
Nothing will kill your buzz quicker than wiping out on the stairs and taking a few innocent bystanders with you. And especially at the opera house this happens quite often. |
