So we got there about 9pm... and I went right up to the 19+ area. Sound problems... oh my god... I still think it was fun though. (And I know I am going to get a few shots at me for this comment) but I wasn't too overly impressed with the live vocalist.

Welllllll, what a party.

I cant say it was a terrible hulla, because it wasnt, but it wasnt great either. There were pleanty of sound problems which have been mentioned a hundred times now so I wont go into em. EVERYONE was fucked up on something or another, I cant really claim I want, I was nice and drunk but there were soooo many E Tards on the main floor, I couldnt stand it. I spent most of my time up in the 19+ with V05 (from TR) and Kelly, theres pleanty of stories to go with that as well which Im not going to get into :P

Tyco's set was by far the best I heard all night! It got me pumped as soon as I got in there. Then subsonic played some awsome tracks so the night was going well. Frisky was awsome as usual. Then dirty ol' Dr. Trance took the stage and it started to really suck. Then Fade came on and he wasnt terrible but he wasnt anything special either. Then that live PA happend and I wanted to shoot myself in the head, take that mic from that woman please!!!
Ah well what can ya do, wasnt my favourite hulla of all time thats for sure! But it wasnt terrible either.

I met soooo many people and saw sooooo many people last night so if I saw ya last night you know who you are.

Oh ya and a funny story, I had a stack of flyers to hand out so I thought it would be funny to put flyers in all the cop car windshields, but Kelly stoped me ah well

This party was alright. It wasn't my greatest Hulla ever, but it was a good time. It would have been better if Love Boy was played.

It was great meeting people that I'd never met- DJ Tranzit, HEATER, Kayla...

The high point of the night for me was during D-Minus' set, when the circle started up, and he started dropping the 98 anthems... it took me back, if only for 15 minutes, to a time long ago, when I used to break it down at every party. There were some sick breakers and b-girls, and the floor wasn't even too goopy!

Hulla was ok last night. I wouldnt say it was the best one I had been too, but it certainly wasnt the worst. I do agree with one of the early posts there were far to many e-tards on the dance floor, taking up space. To Commander Keen, who are you I was part of the breaker circle? I was wearing red fun fur pants and a red fun fur vest. I also was using red photons (lights I had attached to my pinkies) I was usually hanging around a tall guy who was in a simular outfite just green fun fur. My real name is Wes by the way, I am sure there are some people who post here who I ran into. We left around 2:10 but we got there around 9. The only other thing wrong with hulla was the venue allowed smoking, which is fine for you smokers but I am feeling like shit today.

Hmm, to bad I didnt have my id with me, I hear the 19+ area was almost empty. Would have had lots of room to dance, I wasnt able to do some of the stuff I wanted, like locking and gliding because it was to packed.

Well, as usual, Hulla didnt disappoint at all...the music was all amazing...EXCEPT THE LIVE PA!!! BLACHHH!!! During that fiasco I was wishing with all the strength of the gods that Kelly would suddenly be struck down with a mean case of horrible laryngitis. (sp?) I mean, she seems like she is a wickedcool girl with tonnes of energy, but...it just totally brought my evening down a few notches. And I must say that I thought Dr.Trance was great. And thats that. Frolic's set always does me in. Always-I have never ever been disappointed, or even half-hearted about it, it's always wonderful. And THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU to the dj who played Hold me Now (hard to say im sorry). I heard it as soon as I walked in, I think it was about...12? Maybe? What a good tune to start the night off to! All other sets that I heard were great, and the mc's too.
As far as the company last night, it was so nice to see:

Just a quick explanation;

Kelly did the best she could with having a massive echo coming back on her from the main sound system. She did have monitors, but they weren't loud enough since they would feedback on the mic. If we ever did something like that again I would arrange for a singers monitor headset or something. C'est la vie. She was a good sport though.
