its not the hot sweaty contact that bothers me, i'd be fine anywhere else but its just a reaction to try and be as comfortable as i can be at any given moment knowing that i'll be there for hours to come.
you should do a hug booth right inside the door and just say "ok hug me as you come in and you're relatively clean and no more hugs for the rest of the night after that!"
