dnb and electro have really started to pick up again in north america over the past few years (especially toronto) so you never know... true though that they are really different scenes from the hardcore scene but one can still hope...

i kinda think it might be a little like the way punk went further underground in the us during the 80s (only to explode as grunge in the early 90s)... i figure that someone somewhere is always gonna love a fun kickdrum led track over 140bpm... when or if it pops up again here, who knows what it'll be like?

you should always have hope. the scene can never fully die as long as there is a dedicated core. and that's what the hulla ravers are right? the dedicated core to hardcore.
