Ok, I've just spoken to the bowling manager and got my head straight on the bowling rules.
The bowling alley will open at 11pm after the main show part of the night is completed in the main theatre. After that everyone will be free to come and go between floors. Bars will be open on both floors till 2am. We'll have music playing on both floors as well, but in a background atmosphere level.
You will form teams of 5 players to enter. Go ahead and give yourselves names for fun. You can do that in advance here on the board or privately or group up together at the Alley. I'll create another thread just for posting of teams and teammates.
A round of 5-pin bowling is 10 frames and takes about 45 minutes. You get 3 balls per frame (not 2 like with 10 pin). A perfect score is 450. There are 12 lanes in this alley.
Scores will be submitted and at the end of the night we'll give out awards to the top 3 teams.
This is all in fun, so don't take it too seriously. We'll all be terrible, I'm sure!
There will be a silver haired lady who runs the bowling alley around to help you out with any more info you need. This is a "classic" bowling alley, probably been there for decades in the exact same state, although I'm sure most are
.
