I have to admit, I was quite sad when I read that Hulla's were comming to an end. But we should all look at this as bittersweet. for 7 years now, Frolic has been bringing us parties that are full of love, life, energy, unity, respect and peace. AKA PLUR with a twist. But now the time has come and He needs to start his life outside of Hullabaloos, Maybe this is a way of passing the torch onto the GoodFellas?

I hadnt partied that long before I attended my first hulla in April (SailAway), but a friend of mine said, before we left, that Hulla would be like my first rave all over again, and he was right. I was use to partying in Ottawa, which is NOTHING like the Toronto scene.. I had expected to go in thinking I would be no one, be shy and not want to dance. Was I wrong! As soon as I walked in, i was given a whistle, and a hug. Needless to say, I dont think I stopped smiling all night. I danced all night long, and when i got out of the party i had to drag myself to the car to sit cuz my knees were in such bad shape, but it was so worth it.

I hear a lot of people say that Hulla's have gone down hill and the complain and say they suck. But can you honestly say you went to a hulla and didnt laugh? Smile? Dance? Hug a stranger? Help someone when they needed you? Listen to someone tell you a broken story of their life? Ha, you did, I'm sure you did. And eevn if you did "have a bad time" I'm sure there was one point in the night where a smile fell upon your face.

With that beeing said, Long Live Hullabaloo.. its sad to see them come to an end, but hey, there are 4 left, lets see them proper!
Happy Hullabaloo
