i don't know what their check in times are, but i do know that when we get to t.dot around 1pm on sat. they let us check in, and we request a late check out which is usually 1 or if you're lucky 2pm on sunday. as far as it being far from the venue. its not that far, its like a $5-7 canadian for the cab ride to the opera house. its very close to yonge, its right off it and there are mad cool stores on yonge. also its bout 5 blocks up from queen st. e, maybe 6 or 7 and the mall is right on the corner and the walk up queen to go to the different stores isn't bad at all.
