The bag-check policy is the Opera House's, but I've grown to like it since as crowded as it gets sometimes, you can imagine what a mess the place would be if there were hundreds of backpacks piled all over the venue as well.

Even if you check your bag, you're allowed to access it during the night to get things/put things away for no extra charge.
