Bring a camera, bring a PLUR book to write in and a pen or two, but make sure it fits in your pockets or a SMALL bookbag...larger bags must be coat checked. I'm not certain on video cameras... I've seen them there before but always for something related to production.
You're also heartily encouraged to bring a smile and a warm fuzzy feeling... but if you leave yours at home, more will be provided for you at no charge.
