the opera house will be our home until some other new venue becomes available. I don't know how many times I can say this, but without them, there would be no more hulla period.
Those who complain only ruin it for everyone else as they're the ones responsible for my cancelling of some larger plans.
I can guarantee that everyone in attendance will have a great time though. The one thing about returning to a venue is everyone knows what to expect, and we've had great parties there. Not to mention that the Hulla experience is unique to itself. We only throw 4 or 5 parties a year, so if that is boring to you then so be it.
Setting ticket price is a very easy equation:
Cost of event / estimated attendance = $ticket price.
My costs are higher than most, as I have things like liability insurance ($450 per event), and 17% of the ticket price goes to salestax, which most promoters don't pay. Not to mention most promoters lose money and never throw another party, and that doesn't help anybody.
