HULLABALOO! "FIELD OF DREAMS" MAY 11 - 5 Year Anniversary!

HULLABALOO!

FIELD OF DREAMS

*celebrating 5 years*

The scene was forever changed back in 1997 when an unknown company featuring unheard of DJs and a totally criticized and unproven music format mounted their first event, unassumingly called "Something Good". No one could have foreseen the juggernaut that was created and went on to throw dozens of blinding events attended by the most dedicated of audiences. After all these years, Hullabaloo is still an anomaly that has yet to be recreated anywhere else and is cherished by all those who attend. We look forward to bringing the Hullabaloo family together once again and celebrating what we've all made possible.

FEATURING

-- FORCE & STYLES --

[happy hardcore- uk]
We put a lot of thought into who should be our guest to celebrate our anniversary. The decision was obvious. Simply put, no artists in the hardcore scene are responsible for more "Hullabaloo Anthems" as F&S. From 'Heart of Gold' to 'Make Believe', the biggest tracks at every Hulla are theirs. Their first appearance with us since "Funtopia 3". This will be a classic.

-- ANABOLIC FROLIC --

[happy hardcore]
The founder of Hullabaloo and the man responsible for over 300 000 Happy2bHardcore albums, no one can contest his legacy of spreading the happy hardcore sound across North America. His legion of fans make every one of his sets something to remember.

-- FRISKY --

[happy hardcore]
The only other DJ to have been with Hulla since their first party, a true hardcore pioneer he has continued to push forward with his ATM Recordings label and upfront track selection.

-- MARCUS --

[jungle]
One of the few recognizable names on the very first Hullabaloo flyer, Marcus has remained on top of the Toronto jungle scene this whole time. Always a crowd favorite, his Hullabaloo sets are always magical.

-- D-MINUS --

[happy hardcore]
A regular with Hullabaloo since their 2nd event, "Return of the Vibe", D-Minus has grown into a full-fledged attraction of his own with his unparalleled showman skills and being able to present even the most widely recognized tracks in new and original ways.

-- ELIXIR --

[trance]
Hullabaloo's trance resident, he's gone from strength to strength since his Hulla debut at "Rush Hour", December 1998. Hard at work in the studio as well as behind the decks, he recently launched his own label, Discotoast.

-- SUBSONIC CHRONIC --

[nu-nrg/uk hard house/hard trance]
Another Hullabaloo success story, Subsonic Chronic has been at the forefront of the hard dance explosion since he made his debut opening up our second arena at "Funtopia 2", June 1999.

-- SILVER1 --

[happy/freeform hardcore]
Hulla's most recent resident dj, his first event was "Ooh Crikey, wot a Scorcher" February of 2000. Silver1 delights with his unique blend of cutting edge freeform and into happy anthems and back again.

-- HUJIB --

[freeform hardcore]
A rising star in the Toronto hardcore circuit and a die hard proponent of the freeform side of things. HUJIB has been pushing our boundaries since he made his Hulla debut at WEMF 2000.

-- MC JD --

A longtime Hullabaloo resident, making his first appearance at "Meltdown" April 1998, JD returns to us to work his lyrical skills and delight the crowd like only he can.

-- MC KWIK --

Making his Hulla debut at "Space Invader" December 2000, MCing an early morning Silver1 set, Kwik earned his residency with us in short order and has been with us ever since.

-- MC GOBSTOPPER --

Quickly becoming a fixture with Hullabaloo, Gobstopper has created a big following with his high-energy stage presence and rhymes. His Hullabaloo debut was at the Hulla stage at WEMF 2001 where he made a huge impression.
