Well .. DAMN. like always.. a great great party!..
nicely decorated, good sound and as always a WICKED crowd!

I had to leave early cause a friend of mine needed some help. but I stayed for most of the night!.. Great music..

Hujib .. nice set .. it's all about BASTARD and you know it.. ( don't forget to send me the info for that re-mix of body slam! )
Elixir ... well that's me.. and I had a great time playing for you all.. thought since it was a 5 year anniversary.. I'd play some of my old classics :)
Frisky .. a joy. good and pumpin!
Marcus.. you played some great jungle there.. nice and ravey!
Frolic... nice set man!.. you played some WICKED tunes..
Dj Force.. Although I had to split out early, what I heard was sounding great.


I have to say that everywhere I went there were smiles and laughter.. and even when people were getting annoyed at the pushing and shoving to get places.. they were all joking about it.. lol.. It was good being able to just say hi to people and not get attitude back.. but then again. that's what Hullabaloo is all about.
good friends. a healthy dose of Silliness and fun :)

OK, here goes:

8:00 pm- A un-raveily dressed MCED parks his car on the street where he always parks it wanders into the Eatons Centre for the pre party net meet. After standing around and looking out of place for a while, DirectDrive and Imlookingthruyourwindow greet our traveller. J-Karlos, kandeegirl2, SketchLobster, cinnybun and assorted others make an appearance.

9:00 pm- A now raveily dressed MCED, J-Karlos, and the Jersey crew head for the Bang Topaz... only to discover to MCED's dismay, that the Bang Topaz is not where it was left an hour before. It seems that it has wandered off on it's own.

9:30 pm- A kindhearted J-Karlos chauffeurs a now rather pissed off MCED to the impound lot. A relieved MCED discovers that the Bang Topaz is indeed at said lot, and recieves a $20 parking ticket. Then the girl behind the counter smiles, and charges our hero $97.50 for towing and impound. A much poorer MCED recovers his wheels, and the convoy sets off for the Opera House.

9:45 pm- A somewhat excited MCED hits the line at the Opera House, and peruses the rave-folk to see who he knows. Cinnybun and company are in line, Kellan, Julia, and a mixed bag of nuts.

10:15 pm- A very warm MCED is inside the party, whooping it up.

10:15 pm-6:30 am- Our hero continues with the up-whooping to several very well mixed sets- Anabolic Frolic and Force played memorable sets! MCED was very pleased with the value for his ticket money.

6:30 am- A tired but happy MCED departs the party, and discovers another parking ticket on his windshield. If it wasn't Hulla, our weary traveller would have started breaking shit.

as I am waiting impatiently for my pictures to be developped (i get to pick em up in 20 minutes), I sit here....tired as hell...ready to popst a review.

What can I say? This Hulla was AMAZING! Even though I didn't get to meet many Hullaboarders there, I did have the pleasure of meeting Carl (DirectDrive), Mike (Everybody's Daddy), Jesse (Mr Magoo), and Keron (Keron Da Funky 1)....boys, it was fun...we must do this again! =)
To Ashley, Nick, all 4 Ryans, Scott, Justin, Johnny Funk, a party ain't a party without u guys! (especially the mad-ass funky dancing care of Justin)

All of the sets were amazing....my personal favorites were Frolic, Force, and silver1....(and I wouldn't of minded that colossal 5.5 hour set...) the tracks were insane! (I know, i'm being kinda biased, since silver1 *did* play shooting star)...

Anywho...I had fun...hey hey to everyone that I met last night...and I am definitely ready for the next Hulla!

Last night was my first hullabalo and it was a wicked party. Most of the parties I've been to lately in the US have really sucked. Its great to know that there are still tight out there. Anyway, I'm tired from riding on the bus all morning. Time for sleep. Can't wait for the next hulla.

Wicked party yo! Danced my ass off more than last time. The only quam i had last night was the crazy heat on the dance floor (not even having to dance and sweatin like a mad man). Other than that 1st class Frolic all the way. I was a little disapointed not to hear any Storm and Herman tracks or even Elysium +. But thats ok, thats what i got my sets for :). Ne wayz my highlights of the night were:

DJ Marcus - Wicked bad A$$ jungle set always a pleasure

Subsonic Chronic - WHAAAAAAT, i haven't wicked psy/NRG/Hard wickedness in ages. Im in the mood now to pick up some psy tracks now.

Frolic - Nice touch with Clonico' s Can't Stop Raving (I Love spanish tracks). Wicked set all together (what was that remix of Children u played, i want it)

Silver1 - acually stayed till the end, and it was worth it. Wicked trancecore, plain and simple!

Can't wait till next hulla.

What a night, pounding headache! Pounding tunes! Awsome. Highlights of the night definitly would be my car getting broken into and haveing $200 worth of foam stolen!! WHO THE FUCK STEALS foam? Please tell me! FuCkIn HeLl!! Anyways, wicked sets from all djs, nice hard shit from Force! (was that HIS limo parked out front?) And then there was the mad drunkness of the evening... ahh...

Well, we were in Brantford until 1, so we finally rolled into the party at 2, and those 5 hours we were there was probably THE best party experience I can recall in recent history.

Frolic - sick sick sick Chris.. just.. exactly what I wanted to hear :)
Force + ___ :P - LOVE! that UK sound.. dayam.. just.. DAMN
D-minus - Weeeeeee! What a good set!
Senor Chronic - Sheeeeit.. what a sound.. no matter how times I see you.. just.. better and better
Silver - What.. no elbowdrops to finish the night? :P

All the kids I've been wanting to meet.. was good times seeing ya :) Even if we showed up late.. just.. what a party is all I can say.

i had an amazing time. i met so many new people, and had absolutely no problems during the night. i only actually got into the party around 12ish, cuz unfortunately i had to work. which sucks, cuz i was looking forward to elixer's set.

i kinda missed frisky's set, as i was busy talking.

im not the biggest jungle fan, but marcus did spin some great tracks. i took the time during his set to (with the help of sabryna) make up about 24 word bubbles from bristol board i brought. best idea ever! i got so many good pictures throughout the night. i'll post them on my site asap.

frolic. amazing set. didnt stop dancing! good luck to the next five years. :) *clink!*

force: yaaaaaaaaaay! i was saving my confetti until heart of gold, which, YES, was spun! ahhhh! great set!

Marcus - JESUS FUCK!!!! Your set was kicking dude. The main dance floor was fucking rocking during your set. (MSG: To Frolic, more Jungle at hulla please)

Anabolic Frolic - You spun lots of good tracks your set was nice and happy, the way I like it!

wahoOOO!!!! my 2nd hulla was AMAZING :)
i brought my friend april who was a hulla virgin, and she says shes never experienced anything like it before... which is what everyone says!!! :) she had a ball. so did all my other friends. us detroiters met up with our east coast kids in toronto, and had a very interesting day-experience checking out the GHETTO-est hotel in toronto. heh. we took cabs there, and spent a fortune... only after we spent all our money at the party did we discover the trolly thingy thats cheap and sufficent. :) so thats what we're gunna do next time.

ok, so here goes the highlites:
**SHOOTING STAR- at the end of the night, FORCING me to dance even tho i was more sore than sore...
**DEEP INSIDE **4** times!!!!!!! (my hulla sweetheart- whom i met at make believe- thats 1 of our songs)
**LOVE OF MY LIFE twice!!! (another of our songs)
**EYEOPENER!!!!!!!!!! (haha, yep, another)

BLAH. i just got home. im shitfaced tired, sore and look like death. my hair is somewhat of a green/bluish color and so is my face- from louie's newly dyed hair ... blah... we drove a 4 hour drive that ended up taking us about 6 due to us getting SO FRIGGIN LOST downtown... grrrr... but i did learn something about toronto i didnt know till now: younge street is what separates E. and W. Queen~ ya learn something new everyday.

thanks to frolic who once again outdid himself...
all the amazing DJS and MCS that made my trip worthwhile...
everyone who helped decorate, bartenders, sound guys (GREAT sound...) etc... you know who you are.

Now that was the best party that i have ever been to in me entire life.
