OMG the vinylizer thing iS SO COOL... lol, i got a bunch of jacks for it.. and hooked it to the subs at our house... plus it has input... this is too much fun... i feel like i'm 12 again...

addons are little figures that snap on each side on the circles, and they have extra sounds and samples..

Yep - I'm serious about WalMart, They have them. At least up here they do. But we also invented gross shit like maple syrup, so who the fuck knows.

I just want to point out that a lot of people - myself and Frolic included - boycott Walmart for a lot of reasons, some of which are:

1. They're anti-female; they've refused to sell emergency contraception (this is serious because in many small towns, they're the only pharmacy, so it's the ONLY place women can get it, and it has to be taken within 72 hours of sex and many rural women don't have the option to just go to a big town to get it).

2. They're anti-female for other reasons too; they're currently the target of the largest class-action lawsuit in history because women make up 80% of their workforce but only 10% of management is female. There are actual internal company memos telling management to promote men ahead of women because men "have families to support" - this completely ignores the fact that many of the women that work at Walmart are single mothers.

3. Walmart is infamous for crushing local businesses (they'll deliberately price their products lower, even to the point of losing money, until the local businesses go out of business).

4. Walmart is strongly anti-union and refuses to let their workers unionize. The first Walmart in North America to get a union was in Quebec within the last few months, and Walmart has closed that store under the pretense "it was no longer profitable". With that move, Walmart has sent a very strong message to the other stores not to risk unionizing, because they'll lose their jobs too.

5. Walmart has been found guilty of using illegal laborers, to whom they can pay abysmal wages.

There are more reasons to boycott Walmart but those are the major ones for me. So be aware, before shopping at Walmart, that by doing so you are supporting a company that considers women inferior and destroys the local economies of the areas it moves into. If that isn't a problem for you, by all means shop there, but if it is, there are other places to shop besides Walmart.

i work at a company that does a lot of work with walmart and i've seen a few memos related to the subject, its kinda sad that stuff in quebec is pretty lame, all in all walmarts lame.

not to sound like a bitch, but prior to meeting my boyfriend i had never been to a walmart. My parents are both upper middle class suburbanites and would never shop at a walmart... so prior to being with Will, i hadn't even seen a walmart, let alone go in one. Since we've been together i've been a few times, and to be quite honest, they aren't all that great. I've always found lots of dirty things, and the store was very unkempt.

As for all the reasons Robin has listed... i probably will never go back to one. I am a firm beliver in boycott and the ability to change things.. however

I just heard on MSN, that Walmart is the worlds largest employer next to the US government... and also they are the worlds largest company in terms of sales... 286.6 billion dollars last year.. that is more than Bill Gates...

That's one of the major problems. In many smaller areas, they are the primary employer of the townspeople. People can't risk making a stink about bad working conditions or unionizing because Walmart is basically the only job in town.

i dislike walmart for the fact that they have EVERYTHING, any small business that is close to a walmart loses costumers to Walmart.... and the thing about illegal workers, when i was livin in L.A. the amount of mexicans workin in walmart was unbelievable, i tried to talk to one employee who could barely speak english...... either way, there is just an erie feeling when i go into walmart, kinda like "big brother is watching you" and in walmart it is, you cannot make a move without someone seeing you, and tho i'm not a thief, it still makes me uncomfortable

And there are many other places to buy the Spinhead toys like zellers and toy r us ... ebay is the best place b/c to find some of the characters are impossible other wise. I think the toy is bigger in the states then in canada. Im slowly working on my collection and melody has only two more to get ... so far shes in the lead! lol :P
